These jerks called about a survey, and before I could finish  my greeting the woman with a thick accent started asking me questions.
I found it rude and told them I was on my way out to dinner, and that was still not good enough, and she continued to ask questions about smokers in the household.  I cut her off and told her I was on my way out, and she became insistent that I answer and it would only take 30 seconds.  I became abrupt with her and told her I was on my way out, and said goodbye gruffly.  
I think I was too nice, and if they call back I won't be so polite.

Don't give personal information out to people you don't know, phone or otherwise.  It's my personal mantra.

Keep getting calls and  they won't stop calling. They have called 4 times since 1pm this afternoon.

Got 2nd call from this # in 2 days ... poor English but both calls said they were calling from SPT company doing survey on air quality. Both callers first male & 2nd female were very difficult to understand... could not have normal conversation with either. Asked to have my # removed from their list on first call...but obviously my request was ignored. VERY IRRITATED by these nuisance calls.

Don't know how true it is, but supposedly, the telemarketers can get a list of the Do Not Call numbers, directly from DNCL...supposedly as the numbers they are to cease calling. Sounds like a easy system to abuse and I could see our government being dumb enough to do this!!!

We have been getting phone calls from this number for the past few weeks. They call daily in the evenings around 8pm and onward. If they do not get you to pick up, they continue to call back. Once you answer the phone it has been dead air or they are calling about a survey.
It would be awesome if THEY WOULD JUST STOP calling!

Just got a call from same as above.  Asked about smokers, own or rent home and for how long, pets in house, asthma in any family members, type of job I have and for how long. And my first name. Think I said too much.  Might just put a call block on that number if they call again..... actually she promised to call again. Yikes.  Said they were concerned about the air quality in Revelstoke and all of British Columbia.

I was preoccupied at the time of the call.  Stupidly I answered the questions.  They seemed innocent enough.  At the end of the "survey" they said I was eligible to win a prize.  There's the rub, I'll be expecting a call in the near future.  If you were as stupid as I was and you get the call saying you have won and need to give your credit card #, DON'T.

This is ridiculous and I don't answer because don't recognize the number.
Please don't answer this number people out there...

They have called one or two times each week this last month.  They asked if I would answer a few questions but hung up when I asked who they represented.  Our telephone carrier is Shaw and they will block unwanted calls.  Just enter *60 and follow the prompts.  This is a great service.  I also have tried sending an online complaint to CRTC.

They are annoying.  If you want to take the time, try contacting the National Do Not Call List.

SPT Environmental Research - Air Quality research in your area. They repeatedly call and sound like scam artists. I told the woman I did not do surveys...she said it wasn't a survey and continued to ask if smokers were in the home. I repeated I didn't do surveys and was not interested, they are very pushy so I hung up.
I just read on another site where people complained of the same issue but from 403 648 2643 and very personal questions asked. DON'T GIVE YOUR PERSONAL INFO to anyone you do not know...HANG UP!

SVT Duct Cleaning. Got about 10 calls on my caller ID with this number.

Yes, it is telemarketing for duct cleaning, masquerading as a survey.  Do not answer, or pick up and hang up at once, or pick up, then hit # a bunch of times before hanging up.  SOOO annoying!1

A woman doing a 'survey', but asking very strange questions. She said she was calling from 'STD', and wasn't able to say who had requested the survey. So much for the DNCL...

4 to 5 times a day. ENOUGH! This is such a dead medium to do "business". Sick and tired of paying for a phone service so I can get harrased like its there right. Ignorant.

Iristel is the carrier. This is a telemarketer in burlington or brantford on. Report to the dncl. also, when they do call just tell them to take you off their list. Usually takes 24 hours to remove you from the dialer. if not, they can be fined for that as well. they must respect your wishes.

lets face it, these guys are on the lowest rung of the business ladder. tele marketing is as old as door to door salesmen. if they're calling you it means they are desparate unimaginitive morons whose services or products you dont want or need in the first place.

We receive 5 - 6 calls per day from this number.
Someone with a heavy accent keeps saying she is doing a survey.
We have told her we are not interested and do not call again but that accomplishes nothing.
The calls continue
