Called my cell. Played a recorded message in Spanish, no clue as to content.

They call to say that you just won $1000 dollars in cash and to stay on the line.

The cal me just know and this is not the first time something like this happen on my cell. Because of things like this i had to get my number change and i don't plan on to again any ways to stop them. Also i didn't answer.

Reported to the FBI for violation of Do Not Call Registry. Scumbag Mexicans will be in jail in no time.

If enough of us turn them into the FCC on the FCC website, they will get a fine and stop calling.

Get 1 ring calls no message.  Most cells phones you can block numbers yourself when you view details scroll down to find an app. that says "add to block list"  Have had to do it for lots of those telemarketers.

Just got a recording in Spanish speaking. Great! I had this new cell number almost a year with out spam calls. Then I accidently hit redail when I tried to check the date for reporting DNC. With my old cell number I was getting calls everyday. I had only gave my number to my family and work. Recently I had registered for classes at community college. Gave the usual information. Just one time outside my circle.

Got the call, but didn't answer.   This happens a lot, getting calls from unknowns, so I always ignore them, but I check them with Google, and sure enough, all of them have been scams.   I'm guessing, but I think it's automated calling.   Start with an area code and prefix, then go 0001, 0002, 0003...up to 9999.
Always let unknown numbers go unanswered, then google them.   In one instance I know of, the caller does somehow have your name AND VISA #!!!, and when they ask "Hello, is this (Your name)?"  DO NOT say "Yes" or anything that can be manipulated as an affirmative.   Those scammers will insert them in recordings as "proof" of your order and bill your card, but you will never receive the stuffed teddy bears or [***] or whatever they're supposedly peddling.   Never happened to me 'cuz I was smart enough to Google the numbers.

It's probably sequential dialing, so in this instance they don't have our numbers.   with all the cell phone numbers, all they have to do is pick an area code (PDX 97220), grab the first 3 numbers, and they have a prefix
(I'm at 97123, so mine is 971-###-####), the rest is easy.   I used to do sequential calling back in 1979 for a newspaper in Sacramento, and boy did I get abused and hammered with the old "how did you get my number?"
From what I have read on other sites, these people are not abiding by the Federal Do Not Call list, so the more people who report them, the quicker the dirty [***] will have to quit.

when I answered the phone i heard the sound of cash money mochine. then a women's recorded voice saying: " felicidades acaba usted de ser ganador de mil dolares"

Their voice-mail call to my cell phone const me $1.10! If they had an 800 number, I'd put it on robo-dial for a month...

You need to contact yours. If we all do it and vote the $3@@(* out of office, eventually we are bound to find one that will do something for us.
That was 30 days ago, and since he did not respond, I am assuming he wants me
to tell people about his effectiveness.

The was a prerecorded call to my cell phone from a "Mary" at "Nationwide Credit"  attempting to contact a Christine Arneson.  

I do not know any Christine Arneson.  I keep getting pre-recorded messages from different numbers from this company that claims to be a collection agency.

I have made several attempts to get through to a live person at this company.  I finally succeeded today.  She refused to give any information other than her first name.  That includes a mailing address for this company.

Pressing "1", only confirms to the swine that your phone number is alive, and there is somebody who does not like to be called. That in turns means that they will call more becuase you are on a verge to give in. They will continue to call until you buy whatever cr&&$ they sell.
