Constantly calling to sell credit card scams. What is our government doing to stop this harassment

Called at 3:22 pm on June 29, 2017 & did not leave a message. I have Mr. Number (app) on my phone & it displayed that it was a telemarketer so I did not answer.

Called my cell, left no message.

[***] spam call offering to lower credit card interest rates. How are these illegal calls still occurring?

Called me about 5 minutes ago. They did not leave a message.

This call is about lowering my interest rates. The message says that if I am not interested to press #2. I do but they still keep calling.

Called my cell back-to-back, rang once both times and hung up. No message.

Report these calls to FTC.com through their complaint process.  I also have started sending a copy of the complaint to my elected officials at all levels of the government (city, county, state and federal).  The current Trump administration is rolling back consumer protections.  Raise their awareness by papering them with copies of the complaints.  Eventually, they will enforce the current protections or put tighter ones in place.  I am also asking when I contact my elected officials that they start holding the phone companies accountable for providing service to these individuals.  Don't let up.

That sounds like a great deal.  Where can I get a credit card?
