The calls from this number are becoming more frequent.  Now when they call, they wait for me to say Hello a few times and then they say Good bye.  I have been getting a lot of these calls since I registered at the freebies.com website.  Of course, that is my fault for being stupid and registering but who expects in excess of 1000 emails and calls from all over the US.  Am in the process of a new email address (how time consuming!) with the possibility of a new phone number.

Knew my name and said I could be compensated for taking blood thinner. Never took a blood thinner and how do they know my name?  I hung up on them. The guy that called was Indian had a very thick accent hard to understand.  Sick of all these telemarketers get so many calls from these jerks.  I have blocked many numbers from these idiots.  STOP CALLING.

I make it a habit of not answering numbers that I don't recognize. If they don't leave a message/voice mail. I go to my recent calls list and block those numbers. I get them ALL the time.

Loved this response... folks need to stick to the main topic. Makes you wonder why folks might want to diverge from the issue at hand. Hmmmmm

The carrier for the number, 561-449-8980 is Bandwith.com.  I called them and spoke to their Security Dept.  Told them about the calls.  They closed the number, while I was on the phone.

That should slow the scammers down some.

Received a call I answered, after a few seconds of silence an automated female voice said "goodbye".  No idea who, what, etc.

561-449-8980  has called me on several occasions. One time I spoke to someone with a very strong accent. He was very hard to understand. He started asking me all kinds of very personal questions leading up to if I had ever had problems with a bladder sling.  I can only guess that this a call center in Florida that lawyers use to drum up malpractice business.  I told the man that I did not want to have a conversation with him about such an intimate subject.  Then, I asked him to do me a favor and please take my number off of his calling list.  He said he would, BUT, I still get calls from that number.  I've listed it as one of my contacts so when they call back I just "reject" the call.

I have an Alabama number....where are they calling from ???  I reject the call, cause I do not anyone in 561 area to my knowledge.

They called me twice now doubt they will cal back ever again being I got nasty.with him asking extremely personal questions about his mother. Some time you just have to make your own fun.
