- Ex EmployeeElite Media. They scammed people and told "some" of the employees that they were legit. They closed down and took off when they had to pay their bills. Rent,,,, UMMMMMM paychecks... etc....
The owners are SCUM of the earth.
Roger - krisco replies to JeanYes, I received the same or similar call. when I checked with a couple of local country clubs none of them would ever submit names to a magazine for mailing to members.
When I mentioned this website and the fact that nobody heard of his magazine, he just said maybe they are new to us.. hmm strange since he said that they have been in this area for 3 years.
Hope everyone catches on to this bs.
Krisco - AmyThis "company" attempts to sell advertising space in a non-existent publication. They assured me they had a "contract" with the pro shops at many of our local country clubs... I let the caller know I am a member at one of the club he referenced and that no such contract would be possible. Our pro shop does not make club decisions, nor would the membership of any of the clubs he mentioned allow for solicitations or or non club related materials in the pro shop. The caller had the gall to attempt to tell me I was wrong?! about my own club. It was all very weird & irritating.

- pwintI've gotten these calls in the past regarding ad space for a country club. Forget it! It seems in 2015, they are still at it so I guess some folks are silly enough to pay for this stuff.

- Mel replies to JeanThis is a hugh scam. I had a call today from Matt who called me a Jerk when I called him out on his SCAM! I had this same SCAM from a Florida number about 2 years ago. I had to get my credit card to fight it as I had a strong paper trail. I just happen to be a member of one of the Country Clubs they mentioned and my family member with another country club they mentioned. There is no way any country club will divulge personal information on their members to anyone. Also, just for the record, they don't deliver the directories to the clubs either. They make one copy and send it to you (if you are lucky) and that is it. DON'T Fall for this SCAM!
- Bobbie replies to JeanI just got a call from David Prince and Jennifer...full page ad for $600.00 bucks. when we got to the part where he asked me for a credit card number I said no, I'd have to see somethign first - he then said he would send me an email...he hasn't yet...
561-637-4715 and 561-637-4702.... - A complete lie I will sue for definition replies to LT Rowyn| 1 replyThis is a complete lie and, you are now liable to be sued for defimation of character and slander. Watch what you say about people unless you have a good attorney....
- RW replies to A complete lie I will sue for definitionHope you're a bit quicker getting LT to court. After all, you're only replying to an almost 4 year old post.
- MIchaelI also received a call from this (561) number. The number is now (561) 325-6110.
They have changed names to Sirco Marketing. The owner is Robert SirMeyer. If you do a little research, the guy is a drug addict. Very rude, aggressive and also seemed like he was on something. As we were on the phone, I continued to research about this company and the owner, not one legit thing. He gave me a link to the website and the publication they wanted my company to advertise in and if I wasn't an experienced marketing manager, I would have thought it was a great magazine and a clean website. But when I paid attention to the businesses advertising, and the business numbers...ALL FAKE!
They wanted to charge $1000 for the whole year. I asked how many people would actually receive this magazine, and he stated that each of the country clubs would receive 2500 copies. I then asked how many total clubs will you be in, he stated 7 clubs in the San Francisco Bay Area. The clubs are legit, but then I asked, how many members were at each club. He stated 200-300 people. I laughed. So each club has 200-300 people, but each club will get 2500 copies. Then he changes his story and says that altogether, 7000 copies will be distributed. WAIT WHAT?!?!?! 7 clubs x 2500 copies is 17500 total copies. But now it's only 7000 copies?
He used really bad selling tactics like:
"if you don't want to sign up, don't waste my time, I can hang up right now if you don't want to take this opportunity to grow your company."
"All I need to do is get you one or two jobs throughout the year and you'll make your money back." LOL...a good marketing manager does not want to just make my money back FYI.
"I spoke to your owner and he wanted me to call you and get your company signed up." LOL...

- Anonymous replies to Michael| 1 replyIt's funny how "Michael" has a majority of the post. I just want to let the author and the host know that you are not anonymous, my IT guy will track you. It doesn't take a genius to realize you are a competitor slandering both me and my company. This is why I keep a business Attorney on retainer. This is 90% lies. Here is your WARNING... If these post are not removed both the author and host under Florida State Law are both guilty of slander and defimation of character. I will give you 48 hours to remove, after that I will contact my Attorney and pursue both criminal and civil charges against both parties. This is a WARNING to "Cease and Desist". It's illegal to slander a company and person without proof, and these are all lies. I am amused how half the post are by "Michael", You are a real genius.
- Slim replies to AnonymousUm ...
It is doubful that you ("Anonymous") were the target of any "slander" in this thread. However, if the real marketing company under discussion ever sees this thread, they (and their attorney) should read the following:

EDIT:
I see you posted again, after my initial response.
Strongly suggest you access a dictionary and look up the word "slander", since you apparently do not understand its meaning. - Yoda1725| 1 replyIt funny how the facebook page "disappeared." I predict the Linkedin profile will vanish shortly. The mugshot was obtained from sources available to the public.

http://florida.arrests.org/search.php?fname=t ... r&fpartial=True - BobI get these calls at least once every year. Local country club selling advertising, except the country club isn't involved.
- Almost ScammedThese people are total and complete scam artists. These magazines will NEVER be available at any of the country clubs they tell you. I bought an ad from them and went to the country club after they told me they were printed. The club informed me that ALL of these companies are a scam. They will lie and say that they "agreements" and that they are going to ship magazines to the country clubs. Maybe they do they the country clubs are NOT putting them out. Save your money.

- R replies to DMIt sounds like she was giving you her direct line. Many businesses have trunk lines and it's likely that 4700 and 4704 were owned by the same company. That part is likely not a scam.
- JenniferI can't believe this company has the gall to call me again this year .. after being scammed last year being sold an ad in a magazine at a local country club .. the country club manager said it is a scam they don't use anyone like that ..
