constantly calling then wont talk!

called  on 5/17/12 at 2:34pm didn't pick up phone but msg machine picked up & some girl asked for my husband. couldn't pronounce his name correctly & there was background music. didn't leave a msg & after asking for by name just disconnected.

call several times a day but leave no message

Very strange,to say the least!!!! It was a call from some company about auto insurance. They knew my name and address as well? I am on a no call list and this still happen's? "WHY"? Sure would like to know............

If you're on the DNC list, and you happen to get ahold of them, tell them that you will sue for this. They will, without saying anything, hang up in your ear. LOL

I received a "1-Ring phone call from (562) 387-1428 so I returned the call to see who was calling and the gentleman began saying he was calling about my auto insurance. The conversation went as follows:
Me: I have auto insurance...wait,are you from my insurance company?
Caller: No,I'm calling because we received a request to quote you the best price on auto insurance....Is this Mr. Holloman?
Me: Yes
Caller: Are you still in ************,texas?
Me: Yes
Caller: Is your email still...****************?..........(.Which he had wrong by a small typo.)
Me: Yes
Caller: Now what's the actual make and model of your vehicle?
Me: Ummmmm.....I'm sorry I already have auto insurance.

                I then hung up,but why would someone call wanting make and model of my vehicle....when they actually had Some of my info?...............Sounds shady to me!

Got call from 562-387-1428 this morning.  Woman stated that I had requested quote on auto insurance.  Told her I hadn't made request.  She then wanted to verify my email (with hip-hop.com).  It wasn't even close, so she asked for the correct email address (which I refused to give her).  She then mentioned that she also had my street address and wanted to do a comparative quote.  I told her my number was on the Do Not Call list, she immediately hung up.

Caller id shows that Number is from LA debt collections. When i picked up nobody answered and call got disconnected right away..second time they call and its pretty annoying! ! (-...-)

This is from filling out surveys. I filled out a few to recieve Facebook credits. Right after that I got call from different insurance places since the survey was about car insurance.

received a call from this number 562-387-1428, try to answer they hung up...tried to find out who was calling, by googled the phone number and this is where it brought me.  please stop them from calling me.

They called me early in the morning and hung up when my answering machine answered.

I went to the Insurance Express website, based on the comments here.  They are a company that sells phone numbers to insurance companies for solicitations.   They provide a number for clients to reach them: 1-800-665-2020.  I didn't try to call, but if they call me again I might try that.  With some companies, responding in any way only makes things worse, but sometimes it does help.

I'm on the DNC list.

I answered the phone - she acted like it was a recording and said "this is Express Insurance and we are experiencing difficulty right now.  We will call you back"
