Left message about my pending arrest warrant on three charges.  645 seems to be a toll call scam in Trinidad.  The message was pretty convincing and almost enough to make me call the number back.  Caller ID shows 512-355-1269 in Bertram TX but the message said to call 645-583-1240

Caller ID said Long Beach, CA.  They left the following voice mail message:

Just call 562-513-5422. If you need a system where all the stuff most people don't want to do is actually done for you. Just call 562-513-5422 and leave your name and number. We will be in touch soon.”

It's quite funny to get these telemarkers calling you trying to sell their wares for your business, especially so when you own no business....LOL.    A system that will do the work people don't want to do. lol

Received a voice mail with the same message as other reporters have indicated.
Perhaps they're targeting folks they believe to be in direct sales (ie, home-based 'businesses' such as Avon, 31, Origami Owl, etc).

I don't know if it will help but I made my complaint with the Do Not Call Registry. I received the same call from "Global Power Networks." I always get a second call from Florida with a different number each time.

Same as above messages. Made a complaint because I have gotten a call numerous times. Didn't help and on do not call register.

I received a call also, and am on Government Do Not Call list.  You can report unwanted/unsolicited calls like this at:  https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx.

Call received from this number and they actually left a message offering me opportunities to earn more money.  This was not a call I sought out and do not want these type of calls.  I am not sure what good being on the no call list does.

The DNC list does not automatically block calls.  Instead, it provides a list of  "do not call" phone numbers to legitimate telemarketers who pay a fee for the list.

The DNC list exempts political callers, survey organizations,  charities, companies with preexisting business relationships, and some other organizations (such as debt collectors), but these organizations might have their own, internal Do Not Call list (ask them).

The DNC list  is not effective against criminals, spammers and scammers, because those people do not subscribe to the DNC list, and do not care if you are on or off that list.
It can stop calls from legitimate telemarketers, and it does a pretty good job at that.

Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The first thing to do is buy a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.

Google "call blocker" for more information.

If you cannot afford or use such a tool, then:
* Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
* Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers!  All that does is verify your phone number!  And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.
* If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scam" (or similar).  Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.

What it does is limit unwanted sales calls.  Legitimate business do screen against the list before calling. So if you do receive any kind of sales call, there is a very good chance the company is not anyone you would ever want to do business with. Of course there are a whole raft of other nuisance calls that are not required to screen before calling but it never promised to affect those type of calls.

Keep getting calls from this number. Also got message Global Power Networks. very annoying. I've blocked!

Just received a call.......voicemail from GLOBAL POWER NETWORKS.  I have blocked them.

I have been getting repeated calls from this and other unwanted numbers lately.  I WANT YOU TO STOP.... STOP.... CALLING ME.  I AM NOT INTERESTED IN ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO OFFER!!!

I can hear how frustrated you are but asking these teleslime to stop calling you by posting your request on 800notes will get you nowhere.  Take control of the matter.  Get a call blocker for your land line and download a call blocking app to your cell.  Seriously, it works.

call from 5625135422. call received. did not answer. message left voicemail from "GLOBAL POWER NETWORKS - you can work from home and earn much income." i did not return the call & put this number on a block list. yes, i am on the Do Not Call list(s).
