'Rachel' (recorded message) at cardholder services has been telling me this is my 'final call' for the last 2 years. I sure wish it was!  It's a scam. I have no business with these people.  I get a call from them almost daily and this has been going on for a long time. IT NEEDS TO STOP!

My 2 year old LOVES the phone, so I just give it to her to talk and babble away.

This company has been calling me for a couple of years now, and today is the first that I noticed "PHONE SCAM" on caller ID.  You would think that with technology these days, there would be SOME way these calls could be intercepted.  I can't believe people actually work for a company like this.

Got at call from this number tonight and it actually said on the caller ID "Phone Scam" Now isnt that funny

Just received a call from 567-248-4400 but did not answer due to my caller ID.  We have in the past received calls from this number.

Truth in Caller ID: "PHONE SCAM" Didn't answer it.

Caller ID said phone scam.

Don't answer as now that number will come up on your Caller I.D. as: Phone Scam.  So, it's been reported enough to the Do Not Call list as they have listed this with the number.  Also the people from the Do Not Call List center told us not to hit any keys to be taken off of their list, etc.  Aldo don't call them back & asked to be removed.  This just confirms your number as a "Good" working number.  They then will sell it, or trade your number, etc.  Most of these calls are to try to get you information to switch your Credit Cards to them in which they will take your info. & have your card pin, etc. within minutes.  They also changed the laws on buying pre-paid cell phones to a limit of 2 per person at a time.  That's to help stop them from using thes phones to get your identity & then smash the phone, etc.  I did get the call with a mid-eastern type voice with all of the foul language last year.  I searched Goodle just by the phone number & saw all of the same complaints.  That's when I called the Do Not Call Center.  Finally it's nice to know that it comes up as Phone Scam!!!

It was a call for lowering my interest rate on cards which I don't have!

I received a call from this number today and the caller ID said PHONE SCAM.

Believe it or not this phone number came up on my caller ID as "phone scam".  So, when they said press 9, I did and immediately asked to be removed from their calling list.  The person on the other end said... oh... wait a minute... and I'll do that for you.  It sounded like I was put on hold but I was actually hung up on.

Just got a call from this number, love the id "Phone Scam". Also own a very loud whistle, try to get nasty on the phone, I'll give you a permanent head ache! Do-not-call lists seem not to work very well!

Please unite with me and complain about these scammers. We all know it's that rude Indian guy. Don't ignore it. COMPLAIN TO THE FCC. thanks.

I got the same message, from PHONE SCAM, 567-248-4400, just 6 minutes ago.  Of course I'm not going to pick that up!!--super-glad you didn't either.

Wish there was a way to block them, but ATT only lets you block residential numbers; and even though I'm on the Do Not Call List, they're still "LEGALLY" able to do this since they put their name & # on my caller ID.  I'm Sick To Death of This harassment!!

Because they made the call, if they hang up, they clear the line for themselves. If you were to call them and left the phone off the hook, then they are unable to disconnect.  But I wouldn't recommend it.  A lot of the calls where there's nothing on the other end --- or some weird noise, is because they are pinging your line... once your line is open, they can make calls elsewhere.  Vonage blocks calls if there is no caller ID. Rings once, then shows "name unavailable" or something to that effect. And it automatically keeps a full log of all incoming / outgoing calls whether you've answered or not.
The "DO NOT CALL" list does not cover these types of calls or political, survey takerss, charitable requests. DNC is only to stop telemarketers from selling.  If a collection agency is continually calling, you can ask them to stop and they have to - if they don't, you are able to report them. But I would find out who they are collecting for and contact those folks using the case # the "collection agency" has -- They'll give you the company (hospital, doctor, store) you owe to if they're legit.

I have received numerous calls from this company, most times with a different number, and each time I have been asked to put on their Do Not Call List..  Of course, it does no good.  I have also reported them before.  However, the man that came on the line today was arrogant, rude, and mocking me to report him.  I can not believe that this company is still allowed to harass individuals,  I

We continually get these call each week...this time I answered and pressed 9 for an operator...I asked to be removed from the list and he said "of course"... as I was waiting for him to cancel out our number he kept asking me "why don't you like credit cards...?  Why don't you have credit cards?"  I told him "That is my business, please remove me from your list!"  The man on the other end of the line(yes with a rich Indian accent) then proceeded to ask me ..."how old are you?"  I said..."excuse me?"  He stated once more..."How old are you?  You sound quite young...?"  I stated..."I am old enough...and that doesn't matter does it?!"   Then he followed up and said..." you sound young & are making me [***]!"  I immediately hung up the phone and COULD NOT BELIEVE that someone would have the nerve to say this to someone!!!!  I looked at my husband in amazement and disgust !  OH!!!  I am so upset right now!!!!!  YOU PIGS!!!!

Just recieved a call from this number, did not answer, let the machine get it. Of course, they did not leave a message. Funny thing is, our phone company must know about it because the caller ID came up and said "Phone Scam".

Got this call this morning for the first time.  Added it to my 'special' list so my computer will automatically answer it with a silent ring and then plays modem tones to them until they hang up.  Tones will play because they don't have permission to connect, just in case they try.  This is the best system I have found since they can call all they want and I never hear a thing.  In looking at my call logs I have found it actually works since the number of monthly calls have decreased enormously.  Guess they get tired of listening to a modem.  There may be better systems available but this was all free, just had to add a couple wires to my computer and changed the phone wiring to connect to my computer.  This wasn't necessary since turning off all the phone ringers and letting the computer ring did the same thing but sometimes couldn't hear it over the TV in the family room.  I love screwing with telemarketeers.
