I've been getting calls from this number and had an 11.89 charge post to my account yesterday.  Just called Bank of America and they have credited my account and shut down the card, so I'm just waiting for a replacement.

I also had a charge (11.89) from Syneergy Design Solutions. Called the number and got a recording. Called the Credit card company and tole them that the  charge was a fraud.

Home Depot is the connection. I'm calling them today. I had my credit card cancelled.

I was at Home Depot in Seabrook NG. Were you there as well?

Just had the same thing happen to me.  My charge was $11.89 to Synergy Design Solutions.  I haven't used the card for well over 6 months so not sure how or where they got my info.  I talked to the credit card company and they cxld my card and blocked my account.  When I called the # listed...I got the same recording.

On April 15, 2008 a charge appeared on my credit card account from "SYNERGY DESIGN SOLUTIO 570-647-4165" for $12.79.
I have had my card cancelled and am awaiting the replacement.

I just checked my bank statement and I have a charge on my bank card for $12.97 from Synergy Design Solutions. It was just charged today 5-16-08. I have not charged anything from Home Depot so I don't think it's them. This is the second time this has happened but on another card. I just did my weekly shopping with the card and when I saw this site I took out all the cash I could from a money machine which leaves little in that account. The bank is closed on Saturday so I'll just have to worry about some scumbag getting the rest of my money until Monday.

I should have added this to my first post. There seem to be a lot of people who have had their credit cards hacked for modest amounts of money. This will go on for a short time and then they will make a major purchase. Cancel the card as soon as you can and order a replacement. File a complaint with the attorney generals office. Work with your bank or credit card company as most of them will refund the amount you have lost though some will say it's not their problem. Switch banks. Don't assume that since these are only small purchases it's not a big deal. It is. They will take all the money they can get.

I also shopped at home depot and got a charge from Synergy Design solutions I went to my home depot in Daytona beach Florida to report this as well my bank to cancel my card

I was just charged $12.79 from Synergy Design Solutions as of May 17th. I cancelled my card immediately & told them it was a fraudulent charge. Does anyone know if we can do anything else about this company?

Same thing happen to me.  Charge on account.  have not used this account several months.  Called card company and had removed. Do not know where they got my account number.. repeated calling. Just cost me long distance call.  Making fruad report.

I had 11.89 charged to my account as well. I haven't used the card in well over 6 months. Thie only time I used it at Home Depot was 1 1/2 years ago. I wonder if someone has breached Home Depot's security.

Synergy Design Solution 570-647-4165 NY.  I have no idea what this is.
It was dated 3-04-08.  To answer your question, YES I used my debit card
at Home Depot.  Do you think there is a connection?  Whats even worse,
I just sent a transfer check from another credit card and paid off the
balance on that card leaveing a 0 balance (or so I thought) I got my
statement today expecting to see a 0 balance and  there are charges for
$1582.63 + $39.35 finance charges which I know nothing about!  Can you
see me trying to get this straightened out?  Let me know how you make out!

As it appears many of us used our credit and debit cards at a home depot- there is a security issue there. The stores are in different states, but my charge appeared the exact same day as my charge in the AM at Home Depot.

I had to cancel my credit card and have a new one issued.

I called customer service for Home Depot and spent 1/2 hour trying to get the "customer service" gal to forward my call to anyone working in security. Her call "scripts" kept telling me to talk to my credit card people (which I had obviously done). I gave up.

They are linked to other scam companies and you'll continue to see oyther charges once they get one through (according to my credit card company).

I too got a charge for $11.89 from the same company synergy design solutions.  I have my card cancelled acct num changed.

yes. me too. Synergy Design solutions of NY $11.89 0n 5-13 on debit card used it at Barnes and Nobel in store in the Twin Cities,MN and walmart.com online. Same phone number on my statement and same voicemail recording for an e-mail address. Bank flagged it and froze the account now I am in a bind with no $$ until the new cards and accounts arrive in 7-10 days. Risk management say they try it again later with a bigger charge usually before midnight to max the charge for a day and again after midnight to max out the next day. Yeesch!

I rec'd a charge on my account for the same amount, name and phone number. I have shopped at Home Depot many times, but never homedepot.com. I could not verify it then googled both to find this list.  I'm going to contact my bank and be more vigilant in the future!
