I just noticed this same charge on our account today . Called the bank and they told me to call the # . Of course , no answer only a recording giving the address to mail them in writing or leave a message . I am very freaked out by all this too !!! We tried to go cancel the cards but arrived at the bank just as they closed . Hopefully these creeps won't try and take more before tomorrow . But now I am scared b/c the other one cleared 3 days ago ... we'll see !!!

I noticed a charge on my credit card for $12.79 from Synergy Design Solutions.  When I looked them up on the web, I saw all the complaints against them and called my credit card company.  They are cancelling my card and sending me a new one.  I rarely go to Home Depot, and hadn't used my credit card there any time near the date of the charge, so I don't think my fraudulent charge had anything to do with them.

On 5/23/08 I received a charge on my account for $11.98 from a company called "Synergy Design Studio" and the phone number 570-647-4165. I called the number and got the same recording that everyone else did.
I am on the phone with the bank right now to report the fraud. I am so glad I did some research and found this site!

They even have a website!! It is all the same bogus information. Same bogus telephone number. Unreal. Here's the site....

Something has to be done. Somehow these people have gotten our credit card information. Can you imagine all the other people who didn't notice that charge???

Oh...I also had been at Home Depot the same day!

I checked my bank statement and it had a $11.98 charge from Synergy designs solutions in NY city. I have never been to NY city and I have never shopped at home depot like some have stated above. However I shop all the time at amazon.com. I think this is completely irresponsible of a major retailor to have either their customer info stolen or their computer system hacked. I will not continue to purchase items from a company that supports CC fraud!

I have a charge of $11.89 on 4/29 that I know nothing about but there is no Home Depot where I live.

I also have a charge for $11.89 from this same phone number, and the charge is dated for 5/16.

I received a bill from Synergy Design Solutions on 4/16/08 . Still working with card c ompany as they did not remove it on the first call after receiving the bill. Canceled the card today (I hope)

Got a statement from Sears Master Card with a $11.89 Charge . Called the Phone no. 1-570-647-4165 from SYNERGY DESIGN SOLUTION  NY. I Had made NO such charges , called phone no. several times and all times of the day always an answering machine which states ALL OPERATIORS ARE BUSY, leave no and you will be contacted back... I cansaled my card today

I got this same charge and also one from Business Solutions, details of which match many other people's here. People seem to be suspicious of which STORE or which BANK they have used. I can tell you that I do not shop at Home Depot, nor bank at Bank of America. The other possible source, for myself at least, is Visa. Is anyone here not using a Visa card? I have seen Visa mentioned by a few people, but not MasterCard, Discover, American Express etc. If that's the case, it would seem that Visa itself was hacked. Just a theory.

I got a charge for $11.89 from a Tamarack Designs.  Phone number (206) 683-6668.  We now have to cancel our credit cards and have new ones issues.  What is our recourse when something like this happens???  This is obviously very illegal.

Same amount , same company got me too! I have MC and haven't used it in months. My theory is these guys somehow find out you have an unused card maybe on a credit report(i'd like to know how they got the report). I hope these guys get busted.

I was charged $11.89 by Synergy and and we have never used our card for anything other than balance transfers and access checks. That's why the bank called us and alerted us to the charge. I have no idea how anyone would have gotten this account number. We immediately got a new card, but have had to put alerts on our credit report for a minimum of 6 months.
