I have pd my taxes for over 50 years on time year after year. And will again this year, on time. Why is our tax money being spent to pay someone to remind us to pay. My call came 3/30/10. I have untill 4/15/10 to pay.
The person I talked to was alive, and I ask him, who is paying you? Know ans.

Ive had a few calls from them , but when trying to call back jus get busy signal...they can quit calling anyyytime now...or next time they wont enjoy me when I do catch the call;-)

Talk about over kill. First I get a phone call riminding me that my taxes is due on April 15. Then last Sat I recieve a letter to remind me that my taxes are due. How much money is the State of Mo. spending on this [***]? I know when my taxes are due. It happens the same time every year.

I just foud a missed call on my cell phone (I have no land line).  From reading the above notes, I figure it must be the Mo Dep of Rev.  I just filed for unemployment yesterday (Sunday) on-line. So, it must be in response to that.

I just found a missed call from this # on my cell phone, which is my main # (no land line). Apparently it is related to the fact that I just filed for unemployment yesterday (Sunday) on-line.  Maybe it's a way for them to verify the phone numbers?????

Actually, I've been getting callsand when I called back they said there was a glitch in the system and to disregard the call.

I just recieved 3 calls from this number.  I answered the first two and it was a fax tone.  Tried to call back but was busy.  Ignored the third one and it went to voicemail and ended up being a real person saying that he was trying to fax me something but it would not work.  Maybe that is because it is a cell phone!!  Anyways, it was the dept. of weights and measures.  This is probably just a generic outbound number that all dept. in Missoui use.  The same thing happens with Utility companies a lot.  The Dept. of Revenue and Dept. of weights and measures probably share the same building and the same outbound number.  The gentleman on the phone left a different return number and I called back and of course had to leave a message because someone wasn't at their desk.  Haha

I am getting calls from this number at ALL HOURS of the day AND NIGHT. If this is truly the State of Missouri then I feel that everyone who has been terrorized and victimized by these gestapo tactics should join a class action lawsuit to make the calls stop. No government agency should be allowed to have this power over people. If they call you, you DESERVE to know the purpose of the call, WHO is calling, and a LEGITIMATE number to call then back!  I am blocking the 573 area code from my phone because no one calling you from the Capitol ever has anything good to say!

Have recieved and missed  2 calls from this number.  The first was on 8/11/2011 at 10:40 am; AND again  on 8/12/2011 at 8:47 am.  There was no area code on my caller id but the name showed Missouri State.  When I try to call back it just rings and rings.  How do I get it to stop.

Just got a call from that number...sounded like someone was on the other end...I kept saying Hello...no answer and then they hung up. :-/     Guess I will wait and see if they call back....

I get calls from 573-522-0000 all the time, I get no answer and they never leave a message, please report them and block them for me

They called me and I sure don't owe them any taxes, so it blows that theory.

From the Division of Employment Security with a job opportunity working the November election polling places.

Just got a call from this number. Seeing as I didn't know it, I didn't answer. They left a voicemail & it was an automated message from the career center about a job opportunity - working at the polling places for the election.

They called me and I don't even live in MO never have never will.  I am a NY resident been my whole life. So why they are calling me is beyond me.

This is the Mo State Dept of Revenue, they could also be calling about Unclaimed Property if you have filed a claim.  Very nice people!  You can check to see if you have Unclaimed Property/money through this link: http://www.treasurer.mo.gov/default.aspx
