    I do the same. In my contacts there called " Not Important" I even have a different ring tone of a song we really like so we can dance to it while they call time and time again.

    The sad part of the DNC list, is I am a private individual and I sent in a request to get a copy of the list. They SENT me a copy, in .xls and .pdf formats?!!!!!!!
    Just consider that for a second...
    My best advice for people is;
    If someone or something calls your phone (cell or land line), if you do NOT recognize the number OR it is a 'private name / private number'... do NOT answer the call! If it is a legitimate caller, they will leave a message.
    If you do answer these calls... YOU are an IDIOT!

    Called this morning at 9:20 am and left message. Automated voice said it was Amy and you've won a free cruise to the Bahamas if you answer a quick survey.

    I get calls from this prefix all the time for "free cruise tickets" lol.  You do have to realize that while the prefix makes it seem like it originates from Quebec it is not.  You can falsify call display data to say anything you want which is why these people rarely get caught.  I can even buy a device that allows me to change my outbound call display number so when you look at it it says 911 is calling..  It is not even illegal so I can use 911, local police numbers pretty much anything I want to see displayed..

    Just called me here on Vancouver Island a few minutes ago - did not recognize number, so did not answer.  There was no message left and so I looked the number up here and have now blocked it.

    Got the call on my cell. Went to voicemail and left a BS message about having won cruise tickets. It kept asking my automated voicemail system to press 1 (probably to activate a long distance charge scam). Fortunately my automated voicemail system is smarter than these idiots.

    If the area code is correct, then these paramecium are calling from la belle province.  However it is more likely that they are harvesting the internet looking for numbers from Canadian area codes and just call blasting them out with their useless drivel.  Best bet is to block the number.  Mr. Number is a good free Android app.  I believe the iPhone (choke..Apple..choke) has a block built in.  The other thing you can do is create a contact called blocked, give it a silent ring tone and assign this number to it.... Good luck and may the farce be with you
