This number is the general caller ID for the University of Rochester/ Strong Hospital.

I have received 3 phone calls from this number.  I called it back and was told it was a General phone number for University of Rochester/Strong Memorial Hospital.  I called the number and the secretary transferred me to the IT Department.  I s/w Mark in the IT department and he was happy enough to do a search and have my name removed from outgoing calls...whether it was computer related or fax related.  Yeah!!

I received a call about 7AM this morning (3/3).  After I said good morning, there was no response from the caller.  It's nice to see that this information regarding this phone number is on Google. :)

i looked on my phone and i saw a missed call from this number. i called it back and it was a number from strong hospital and an other hospital(forgot). i researched about this number for awhile and i found this. why did they call me and other people? how do they get these numbers? like mine? if u could answer these questions that would be great!

I got a call from this number and it turned out to be a call confirming my dental appointment at Strong Hospital (Dental School).

Well if any one you know works there it may be a call from a desk. It is from strong hospitals medical science department.And Highland Hospital if that rings a bell.Good luck! Call them back to get it all cleared up for no farther calls!

I received a call from this number and was not able to answer it. There was no message left. I called back and asked for the IT department. The woman there had no idea what I was talking about. She said if anyone called from Strong Hospital, that number would show up. ...But why no message?

This was a call from the Campus for me on a job opportunity.

7am on a Sunday.  I went to U of R, but they never call me (haven't since I graduated).  They have a few community-use phones for the workers who don't have offices.  I think this was probably someone who worked there trying to call their voicemail (I'm always getting calls from people thinking I'm their voicemail... one person even accused me of stealing her cell phone even though she paid for some weird independent voicemail service not associated with their phone... idiot).

Two calls on 2 seperate days but no message was left.  When I did a reverse look up it came back to Strong?Highland. When I called I was told that if in fact it was from their number then someone would have addressed themsef as being from a specific department and would have left a message.  I also spoke with IT and was told that more than likely this was a ramdom dialing done by one (outside of Strong/Highland) to obtain information illegally.

It is the number they call about appointments at the Strong Memorial Hospital.

Just got a call from this #. Simply a person at University of Rochester looking for some information at my company. Seems innocent so far .....

I went to Strong today to a doctor.  He wanted me to get an xray.  When checking out of the md office, the secretary asked where I wished to schedule the xray and I told her I didn't know, but it would not be there because of their location and low and behold, not even an hour later I get a call from their radiology area trying to schedule the procedure!  Apparently they share private information between departments.  I really think this is edging on violating HIPPA laws.  They did not have my permission to have anyone call me.  There is a battle with 2 major hospital chains in this area and one doesn't like you to get tests through the other.  The number mentioned here is the Radiology Department at Strong but not sure of which location.

got call no message,when I called back I got all sorts of excuses from operator there! This has been going on since 2008! Someone needs to get their S(*t together!!!!!!!!!!!

Received a call from this number with no message.  Called the number back and it was a general number associated with U of R, Strong & Highland Hospital.  I have no affiliation with any of these so there is no reason for this call.

Just got three calls in a row from this number.  The first call was taunting, the caller just repeating everything I said. Then he asked for Ashley. When I told him there was no Ashley at this number he said "whatever" and I hung up. He called back twice, and I didn't answer.  Left a message after the third call saying he was my daddy and that he didn't understand why I was playing with him.  This number is indeed from Highland Hospital, and since several of my doctors are at that hospital, this will be a real pain if this guy keeps calling!
