I just got this called  not long ago.  She was asking about me, but I told her that person was not here.  As soon as I asked who is calling, she just hung up. That's how I found out about this later on.  She was using other language rather than just english. Watch out everyone especially Asian.

Just for the record, I used to call my wife and others from my work extension, where I dialed 9 to get out. The number that showed on their phones was a generic number when called back it said disconnected. I've called my cell from the work number and got the same number on my caller ID each time. Worked great when I called back bill collectors.

called my mom-in-law's cell every night for the past several days.  Last night at midnight pacific, tonight at 22:20.  Never a message.

This morning both my husbands cell and my cell rang with this number showing, BUT, the call to both of us came from his mother's landline in Oregon, in fact she left us both a voice mail to call her back!! How crazy is that!?! She also said when the call was connecting, it made a series of clanks, and the ring was very strange she denoted. I too phoned the number immediately back, and it said it was disconnected. After reading all these posts, it's rather creepy.

I've been getting these calls for about 2 months now. They dont stop! I've called back and it has a not in service tone. They use to just call and not saynothing then hang up. Now they call and if i don't answer they leave a partial or full message. Today they left a message saying they saw my picture on my space found me attractive and got my number from a friend. ...but,I DON'T have a MYSPACE!!!
Sometimes they call and saw WHAT'S UP! mimicking the scream movie. I'm about to go file a police report today on these harrassing phone calls.

I received a call from 601-429-9007 and it was my sister calling from Eugene Oregon witch is and 541 area code. She said she was calling from her land line phone and had no idea why the other number was showing up. I called back the number and got a message this the number was not a working number and that it had been disconnected. Looked it up on the Net and it said it was from Vicksburg MS. I called Vicksburg MS phone company and they said it was not there prefix.

It was a call from Skype.

I just got a call from this number too.  When I answered, some guy started breathing heavy saying, "Oh yeah...."


I cut him off and hung up.   I'm sure he didn't get to finish, heheheh :)

Called at 1 am.   Prank call?  They called at 1:17 and again at 1:19 when I answered.  They apologized for calling so early in the morning.  I hung up.  They called back and spoke with hubby and asked for Kobe.  My called ID said Vicksburg, MS.

unknown call from this number.  Left no message.

I got this call at night saying I'm one of the ten people in my area who won either a hotel 3 nights 2day stay or a two people roundtrip flight anywhere I want with another peron. I asked them how did they get my info they said its in the area I told him his number says mississppi he said it was his phone company direct line ... but when I asked how did he know I stayed in oakland with an atl cell number he couldn't really respond then asked me my age and said I'm to young for the prizes which I'm 21.... weird!!

got a call from it today. left a message where a woman just said "Hello?" over and over about 4 or 5 times.

Received 2 calls from this number.  Did not answer either since I did not recognize the number.

Called my cell phone today, but did not leave a message.

I have gotten 3 or 4 calls from this number for the past few days on my cell.  If I pick it up there is no one there and if I let it go, then they leave no VM.  I have also received alot of calls from private numbers and the same applied there also.

Just got off the phone with "Grant" from Auto Seller Network.  He called earlier and I told him I would call him back.  His phone number said "WITHHELD" on my cell phone.  He told me to call him back at (888) 980-1223 x203.  I checked out the number in the meantime and found all these warnings.  I went to Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) which had this:

Grant called back before I had a chance to call him.  This time, the call came from 601-429-9007.  I told him about the BBB rating.  He said that was incorrect because he "just spoke with them today."  I told him he could give me a call back after they got the BBB to "fix" their rating.  He hung up the phone on me!

this number has been calling for days also an unknown number they just hang up on me and when i dont answer they leave no message!!! AT&T said theres nothing they can do about it

This number called a cell phone not in my name but in my pocket at that moment, asking for me by name.  I said ,"this is he" and the woman's voice on the other end of the line disappeared, as though the call was dropped.

I was curious, so I called the number back, and got the disconnection notice others have reported.

Then I typed the number into Google and arrived here.  I have no further clues what this is about.
