I got a call from this number 601-429-9008, they left a voicemail, the girl in the voicemail message had to be between 6 and 10, she sounded a little bit nervous... and wanted me to call them back (leaving no number, but what my phone picked up on caller ID) it was weird because I help out in the childrens ministry at my church, so it could have been legit. but i called the number back  5 minute later and it had been disconnected. Also, my phone is a Seattle,WA number, but I live in San Antonio, and the number 601 is a Mississippi area code.

My problem is a little different then all of these… When I get a call and this number shows up its actually people I know like my boss or my best friend who are both in my address book and should show up as different numbers. I have contacted AT&T because I’m concerned that somebody is piggy backing on to my phone and listening in. I deal with very confidential information and this could be devastating.

I got a call from this number, it was for a vacation with the Solaris resorts in Cancun and Cabo San Lucas.

this number called my cellphone and i have a maryland number, they also called my home number pertending to be my grandson, i went to the bank and they told me that it is a scam line. when i called the number back it says that the number has been disconected.

i just got a call from this number...
i have a washington area code. is this anything to be worried about?

got another call from 601-429-9008 today. The calls stopped for a few months, but here we go again. I didnt answer, and as usual,I call back and the # is disconnected

I got a call from this number this morning. I have a FL number. When I call back it says the number is no longer in service. This person has a profile on Tagged and is supposed to be in the UK.

same here.!!! this creep called my phone at 3 am, -.-

hey it's ur boyfriend, hello it's ur boyfriend. i was sleeping @12pm this person called not the first several times unknown then seconds later this #6014299008 showed when i called, it's says line disconected. then i called back and it send me 2 voicemail and was a mail voice. please stop this kind of inappropriate behavor.

I got a call from this number. It was some guy with a indian accent saying I owed money for a cash advancement that I didn't payback. This has to be a scam. Said I could send him $300 and that would square it away. He could not give me any information about it or myself other then I owed the money. Was weird though. He knew my name and my brothers aswell.

Actually now that I think about it my brother does have some debt. Maybe its possible it is a collection agency and the guy just got us confused?

My son gets 10 phone calls from this number a day trying to sell him prescription medication.  He is only 13 years old.  I have had conversation after conversation trying to explain to this indian man that my son is not interested and for him to please stop calling.  Tonight he said that my son is dying and needs his medicine and that he was my son's doctor.  I told him that he is a terrible man and that my son is fine and he is in front of me and you are not his doctor.  The man responded "your son is going to die and it will be your fault".  I felt like he was a terrorist.  I am going to notify the authorities.

This number just called me ... claimed to be local college my son attends ... then asked me to confirm my address ... then he hung up on me when I said "yes" to the address he (bad accent) read.... As you all know it was a disconnect # when I tried to call back.

I got a call from  1-601-429-9008. I'm on the DNC list. I answered and a male voice said "Hello, how are you today ?"..then it hung up.

i have been receicing calls all day and no one answers me... i am sure is just some some more bs but what ever... if they think calling me and hanging up is gonna get what they want oh well try nd try again.. i just answer turn speaker phone on and set phone down and wlak away..bah ha ha oh i have a ohio based so they are working their way all over..

im N GEORGIA an I just recieved this call from a 601 number I dont have enough minutes on my phone to answer it so i didnt. thinking it may be a JOB i tryed to look up the number and now i am leaving a comment like everyone else! I hope Im being haunted by the ghost of broke M*****F*****S and It scares me into getting a job.

This number calls my cell phone always when i have it on silet  ( at work etc.)  i am waiting for them to call when i see this number so i can answer. so far that hasnt happened. dying to know who it is. when i call the number it says number is disconnected.  what the???? how can it be disconnected when its calling me? its quite annoying
