- Lynn Weed| 9 repliesFirst called by Freedom on-line sold me a website that is a total joke. Three of four days later I get a call from WebTech Stratages, the person identified himself as Michael Micheali who was the marketing manager. He stated that his purpose in calling me was that he was asked to call me by Freedom on line and to get my site up and running. He stated that he had been told by Freedom of my reasons for needing an income ande that he wou8ld make sure that would happen. e asked how much money I had for a marketing and I replied not much, that I had already been scammed and couldn't afford much. He then asked for my credit card and after getting it told me that I had to invest $40,000.00 to get the results I needed. He told me that if I agreed that he would have my site up going by that Friday (this never happened) and that I would see immediate returns that would far pass the amount I had invested. He did say that they only paid out once a quarter. I told him that I didn't like that, but if I had a back office that would give me the vistors to my site and the number of sales made each day through the quarter, allowing me to follow and plan re-marketing stragegies for improved sales, I could probably make it work. I was told that All of that would be in my back office and I didn't need to worry about a thing. Both Feedom on-line and WebTech made all sorts of promises of their support and technical support and the projected success of my marketing strategies. Thee days later I decided to not continue with the program, terrible gut feeling. As soon as they received my notice of cancellation I was called again. This time they begged me not to cancel that they would stand by their commitment for my success, that they would earn my trust. I explained that I was 67 years old on social security, with a small pension. That I had no way to pay back the credit card charges they had made. Again I was told that not to worry they would have my site up and going and I would be seeing those returns on my investimate quickly. I repeated I don't have the money and I can't afford to do this. Again they made all sorts of promises to get me to change my mind. They finally stated that they would reduce the amount by $5,000.00 and promised to give me the same content found under the $40,000.00. I felt that they were trying to help me, but still had that bad gut feeling. I was told that the $5,000.00 reduction would be placed back into my credit card account in just a few days. I canceled my cancellation due to the promises these people made to me. We agreed on $35,000.00 and a new agreement was made and signed. I have never seen the $5,000.00 placed back on my credit card nor has my credit card company ever received that money. My Back office that they promised to get me to sign is a total useless piece of crap. When I complained one of their hired hands by the name of Ralph Mathews called. I told him what I was promised and garenteed that everything I needed would be in my back office and asked why it was not their. I was told that what I had seen in my back office was all that I had and that if wanted to see sales made to my account I would have to wait until the end of the quarter. I explained that is not what I was told and that I needed that information and was promised I had it in my back office, that I had everything I needed in the back office. He just replied if you want to see how your marketing is doing and your sales are doing you will have to wait until the end of the quarter. I told him that I wanted the IP addresses of those who have visited my site , he klod me that I wans't going to getthem and that I had no right to them. I replied I paid for my web sites and I paid for those visitors to come tomy site and that then is my legal property and I do have the right for them and I wanted them I. He gave me some off the wall story example that made no sense at all I told him that this was wrong and if this is the way they treat their clients, I want my account closed and my money returned because this was nothing short of theft by deception. At this point I was upset and Mr. Mathews was also upset at me trying to get what I was promised I told him WE ARE DONE and he hung up. I began my complaint against this company. and would gladly join a class action suit against this bunch of low life thieves. I have gotten nothing for the $40,000.00 I invested because of their promises that they were not a scam and that I would be glad I joined their site and would quickly earn a good income, which I desparetly continue to need because of rip-offs just like this one. This theft by deception is nothing more that Robbery and robbery of $40,000.00 by deceptive businesses should meet the same penalties and prision terms as any robbery in our criminal system. Any State Government that allows this type of robbery to continue under their jurisdiction should also be charged as an accessory to that crime. To have knowledge and allow such crimes of deceit and robbery under their area of jurisdiction to continue should be considered criminal.

- Kelly replies to Lynn Weed| 5 repliesLynn, I am interested in how we could file a class action law suit against Freedom online and WebTech Strategies. I bought a domain name for my affiliate webmall site, enrollment in a Google Pay Per Click program, search engine submission for my site, and a transfer of visitors from one existing webmall campaign to the domain of a new site.
I have had 1,000,000 visitors view my site since November 2008. Did I really have that many visitors? Why wouldn't I have any sales from that many visitors? If I did have any sales, did they keep the money for themselves? Why wouldn't my back office allow ME to view how many sales MY WEBSITE has produced? Since it is my website, I should be allowed to see who made the sale and the amount of each sale.
Many companies realize that people are interested in making extra money, so it makes it easy for them to prey on vulnerabilities.
I was better off before my connections with Freedom online and WebTech Strategies.
I hope you will reply to this message,
Thank you, Kelly - anita replies to xmts| 6 repliesscam scam scam company will tke your money and you will never see any in return just check internet and bbb on these horrible scam artist
- Charles replies to Kelly| 1 replyI too was lied to by WebTech Stratagies and would be interested if there was a class action lawsuit against them. When I asked them how it is that there prized marketing system failed to produce even 10 cents of revenue, they said those are the statistics. They said they have many repeat customers which I know is just another lie.
Please let me know if anyone is interested.

- TrishaI totally agree with Lynn-I filed a complaint with Arizona Attorney General-that was a joke all they did was to ask the company if what I said was true and the company ran thru the contract and the atty said ok your legit! Atty did not even do an investigation. I am out $20,000 that I will never pay off-this is one debt that will Iekely go to my grave. For 6 months I tried to obtain info-I got more lip about why no one had time to talk to me than politicians.

- JoeI was contacted by someone from WebTechStrategies back in March of 2009. They told me that if I were to invest money in their Marketing strategies that I would make a profit of $3,000 - $5,000 per month. I was told I would receive comission checks at the end of every quarter and to take approximately $1500 dollars and set it aside to reinvest it in the website. They supposedly gave me a shopping mall and a travel website with 100,000 visitors for each site. They charged me $3,500 to get me started which I applied to my Discover Card. They then contacted me about 2 months into my campaign and asked me to invest an additional $3,000 in a new type of strategie that would pay me every month instead of every quarter. i was a little skeptical and told them my credit cards were all tapped out. When they couldn't get any more money out of me they stopped calling. months passed by with no word from them on any commission checks. And though I have called repeatedly they always seem to have some kind of excuseas to why I haven't been paid. They would always tell me that they would look into it and get back to me.
I don't remember who signed me on but I do remember the name of the man who was supposed to be looking into the matter for me the first few times I called. His name was Jiggs and he supposedly died earlier this year back in February 2010. They only got $3,500 from me but I would be happy to join a class action lawsuit against them as I have never seen a dime from them and probably never will.- Caller: Freedom Online
