caller ID says "ADAD LLC," but the operator identified the caller as National Bureau Merchant Services. The call is to warn us that our credit card processing service has been under review and that we need to talk to them about the account status.

this call is completely fraudulent. If they were a legitimate credit card processing service, they would have performed some form of authorization and would have at least asked for someone in a position of authority, rather than just starting to talk to whoever answered the phone. Also, if the call were legitimate - or had any potential to be legitimate - they would have called someone who had credit card processing services...

a lady asking for the owner wouldnt identify herself and said would call back.

Basically told me the same thing as they told weif.  Total Garbage.  We told them, they were in violation of federal law, he gave me some BS about how there being a problem with our merchant processing.

I received a call this morning from the same number. As I was in the middle of a conference call on another line, I ignored the call but wrote down the number. Glad I didn't pick up.

i wish these people would stop calling me.

Call from them - no one said anything when I answered, then they hung up....glad I saw this site so i can be ready with snappy comeback if they call back ... haHA!

They did the same thing to me.

Our company received a call from these people.. well, two calls, actually. First call was a guy who kept repeating "hello" back at me, then apologized, said he had phone issues, and he would call right back. Well, there was an immediate call-back but this time it was -- oddly -- a woman.  (Did he have a sex-change operation THAT fast?? Or was he the trainee doing pre-screening, making sure a business answered and then pretending to have phone issues before handing our number over to the accomplished scam artist?)  Having already researched the number through this site before the second call, I was ready to be evasive. I tried to get "Tammy" to tell me what the call was about, etc.  She dodged a bit before asking, "Are you the owner?"  This, mind you, after I already explained that the owner worked on the road.  I told her I was the wife... Click!  She immediately disconnected.  

The only thing I could get from "Tammy" was that the call was regarding our merchant account (credit card processing.) She did mention a generic "name," which I don't recall now because it was so very generic.  She never explained what she was calling for and obviously wasn't happy with my overt suspicious attitude.  lol

As a follow-up, I called that number (after blocking my info) from my home line. I got a recorded answer that I had called "Account Services" (how generic can you get??) and if I was calling about our credit card processing, to please leave name and business phone number because they know how important my time is, yadda, yadda.  Oddly, the system would NOT allow me to leave a message in the "mail box."  A "company" that blocks you from leaving them a message...  Hmm....  Also, they seem to have no valid on-line presence either and the number they called from is unlisted.  And they really want us to believe they're legitimate??

It appears that this may not be a legitimate service.

This number called my company today and asked for me, the owner, by name. Like LML stated in the post above, the caller keep saying "hello, can you hear me" over and over. He then apologized, said he was having phone problems and he would call right back. On the second call he stated that he was with my credit card processing company and that since I had no charge backs that I was eligible for lowered credit card processing fees and rates. I explained to him that I don't have a credit card processing company for the simple fact that I do not accept credit cards. I told him to b*!e me and hung up. When I get a calls like this I try not to answer any question in the affirmative, just in case the caller latter tries to claim I purchased something from them. Reverse phone number search shows that the number belongs to Josephine E Lant, 2839 W Montebello Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85017-2628. So if you are in the Phoenix area you can knock on the door and express your appreciation for them interrupting your day with a scam phone call.

Called claiming to be with credit card merchant services. I did not stay on the line with them.

Same experience, they hung up then called back. I told them NO period, while the lady was trying to mouth something & simply hung up. I then went one more step only to find out that "Josephine E Lant, 2839 W Montebello Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85017-2628" is showing up as deceased on several websites.

Saw all the caller ID info when the phone rang. I answered it, but it was silent on the other end. When these types call, they always ask for the owner.

My standard answer now days is: "The owner is not here, this is an answering service and the owner calls in to get messages."  That shuts them down completely, because they know they'll never get to talk to me.

These losers called our business again today.  This time, one of the other employees picked up the phone. There was no one on the other end so, apparently, they're still having "phone problems."  I informed the other employees not to speak with these people (if the idiots on the other end actually decide to answer a call THEY initiated.)  If, as these people claim, they're calling about our (or anyone else's) merchant service account and they allegedly are the company people have their merchant service account with, why do the calls have all the hallmarks of cold-calling autodialing?  Caller ID listed Adad LLC.  They're "limited" alright but I don't think it's their liability that's limited as much as their intelligence.

Yes, I got a call today from this number, but fortunately I did not answer it as I did not recognise the caller ID.  Got on the internet and found this site about these people.  Glad I researched before I answered.

Our company received 2 calls from ADAD LLC. The first call was a guy who "hello" repeatedly, just like he could't hear me. He then said he was sorry, that he must be having phone problems and would call me right back. 2 seconds later, I recieve another call from ADAD LLC, and this time it was a female. She asked for our owner by name. I told her that he wasn't in the office. She said she would call back later in the afternoon.
Can't wait to talk with them the next time:)

I just got the call from ADAD LLC 602-424-0015 caller Ashley. She mentioned National Bureau of Merchant Services.She told me this company is top tier company and I would be bypassing all the low tier company like mine and save money in fees. Very attractive proposition. I asked her for an email, for me to find out what this company is all about.  She gave me Fax Numbers 877-304-0550, voice 877-464-1116. I checked all three numbers in White pages. First 602 number turned up as un-identified phoenix Arizona number. Both 877 numbers resulted in NO result found. Does not give any confidence, does it? I wonder if I will ever get an email from this company considering it may not be a legit firm.

We got a voicemail that simply said "Thank you", so I looked at caller ID and found the number referenced here.  SPAM.

I missed the call and when I called it back it said I had called the Account servicescredit card payment processor for Merchants . . . .  Leave Business Name and main number. . . and the mailbox is full. Very weird.
