got a message from a guy demanding I call him back
"this is in regards to your natural gas account"

...I do not have natural gas

Called demanding a return call immediately. Andrew at extension 1462. Wanted to switch my services.

"Tammy" Left messages to return her call (at 1-800-968-3503 ex 8805) regarding our natural gas account from "Direct Energy" - we do not have an account with them.

When I called the 800# left I was put on hold, I hung up after a wait - and then per my caller id - a # 602-516-1061 called but left no message - it came up as The Energy Group.

Woman called concerning our natural gas account - we do not have a gas hookup.

We have been getting the same calls...at least 15 times, even though we told them to stop calling. In fact, they called twice today!

Fast talking caller wanted give me 7% rate reduction on my as Elizabeth Town Gas bill (in NJ) for 2 months then in 2 months I would receive more choices. He reportedly called me because I was in a group of customers who paid on time & did not receive government assistance.  1st he need some info from my bill.  Sounded like scam to me

Brandon called regarding our Nicor gas account.  We live in Illinois they are located in California.  I called 1:45pm central Brandon at lunch.  Receptionist said had no idea why he called regarding our account.  This is a scam Nicor gas can be reached in Illinois

Robert called and left a message that I call him about my gas bill. It sounded urgent. I couldn't make out the company name. I called and was put on hold and then disconnected twice. I looked into this further and it is a scam to get you to change Gas Companies to the Energy Group.

Did not answer call, I googled the telephone number and I got this website talking about the phone number. I am also in Illinois

Received call. No Message. I called the number and and not having a contact name was put on hold. I hung up. I'm in Michigan.

I received a call at work from Carolyn asking to speak to the person in charge of the gas bill.   I advised the caller that because this is a government office, I was not sure who that person even was or how to reach them.   The caller was rude.   I referred her to the government's budget department.

They just called my work and left a message. A lady named Jenny from Sempra asked me to call her back concerning my electric account. I have no account with or have ever heard of Sempra. I don't know if they really meant it for me, or not, but it's pretty irritating to get these calls at work. The (602) number came up on the i.d., but she wanted me to call the (1-800) number.

Getting calls from the Energy Group @ work 2-3 times a day from Johnita 1.800.968.3503 ext. 6684.  Leaving everyone messages to call about our Gas Account.  I have called back and put on hold for ever. Also telephone number 602-516-1061 shows up on caller id.

This number cals over and over......they always hang up so I answered it yelling to stop calling me and the guy on the other end yelled at me and was still yelkling when Ihung up.  Today they called again!  I answered, they hung up.  Why are these annoyances allowed to do this?  I am on the do not call register.

Left a message to have someone return their call regading National Grid account. They have been posing as if they were part of that company. Very Rude people.

They have been calling want to speak to who pays the electric bill and we are off grid with our own wind and solar!

They call here several times a week, there's usually no one there. It sounds like a computer generated call and there's no one available to pick it up after I answer.
