Azdor called and asked me to call back at 602-542-1048. I did not call , but it looks like they are starting the scam again.

Got the call today. Its a total Scam.  I checked on the AZ website and its not them.

I got a message on Sept 8, 2021- and is similar to as noted above from previous reports.

Thank you for posting these messages.  I got the same call (from 602 542 0000. ) and have the voice message recording on my cell phone.  Message was both English and Spanish.  Wanted me to call back the AZ Dept of Revenue at 602-542-1048.  After reading all the comments from this site, I have not called back.  Suspect scam.

Received a call today with the message saying from Arizona Department or Revenue, please contact us at 602-542-1048, English and Spanish.  AZ Dept of Revenue website shows a different phone number.  Call came from a generical phone #.

Same as the rest...got voicemail from this number.  Found it suspicious, so I did not call back. When I saw that all of you had this experience I decided not to call it.

Received voice mail on home phone in MI with same message and phone number as above.   Will not call back

I read these reviews. Thanks Guys! So they called back a 5th time and I answered. They tried telling me that I have to pay taxes up front this year. I am also under risk of losing my business license since “im late” on paying taxes. They asked for $290. I said I have it but they’d have to come pick it up. She then said she can send HER HUSBAND to get it. Lmao!!!!!! Scam scam scam.

Received the call just like the previous people reported.  A voice mail was left on my phone to call 602-542-1048.  Did research and could not find the number of the ADOR website and then found this site.  Looks like these people  have not been caught yet.

I got a voice mail saying to call this number for az dept of rev. Didnt call it.

VM stating the same as above. Clearly it works for them if this has been going on for years judging from the messages in 2018. I can’t believe there’s no where to turn them in.

Today is July 25 2022 and I got the same call, they keep going for the innocents

Just got the voicemail today. First the message is in English, then in Spanish - super muffled the way others described it - almost sounds like someone holding the phone up to a speaker.  I compared the callback number (602-542-1048) to the AZDOR website number and (surprise!) it is not even remotely close.  Grateful to have found this thread - definitely smells like a scam.

Got this call today so it's still going strong. I have a small business and AZ DOR sends mail - they do not call and demand money. If you haven't gotten mail from the office, they wouldn't call.

Got a call to our non-profit business telling us to call AZ Dept of Rev at 602-542-1048 today, 4/5/23. So glad I checked before calling back.
