- Kat replies to Linda| 2 repliesThis number may or may not belong to Fidelity but as phone numbers are easily spoofed by criminals your best bet is to NOT give any info to callers from this number but to instead call the number on your statement or on their official website.
- John in CTSomeone by the name of John Price calls from this number and says he is representing Fidelity Investments. I think he is masking his true number with this one, which takes you to a Fidelity call center in Merrimack, NH. When the Fidelity call center came on the phone, they could not verify this individual. I think this is a scammer.
- Caller: John Price from Fidelity?
- Call type: Prank
- Buck| 1 replyGot a call from this number, Nathaniel said he was from Fidelity Investments and would like to review my account. It was a Nashua, NH number according to the phone. I set up a time to call them back on the number we have from work. He told me to ask for the Retirement Planning Team who would be the one's reviewing/advising. He indicated that they do the pre-screening (getting in touch with people and verifying they want to talk to someone) before talking to the Planning Team who are certified planners.
- Caller: Fidelity Investments
- Donna603-864-6488 (number that called me) & 800-887-4015 (number Kelly said to call her back) ARE Fidelity Investor company reps calling/call back #. I called directly to Fidelity to confirm. They just called to see if there was anything I had questions on in my Investments.
- Caller: Fidelity
- Call type: Event reminder
- Richardscam call, they say from Fidelity and even sent email. the link is bogus as does not match when scroll over with mouse. they are trying to steal your Fidelity retirement funds

- Dave| 1 replyphone numbers can be spoofed just like ip addresses. This number may be a Fidelity number, but that does not mean the call is from Fidelity. Never give out any information over the phone unless you initiate the call and are absolutely sure of who you are calling, and even then its risky. Expect more scammers, and solicitation calls now that we have a billionaire Orange clown as president. Now anything goes, as long as it makes money.

- Holly replies to Rebecca408How do you know it's legitimate if they called you?
- greengeneCID was phone number. It called my cell phone. Rang twice and stopped. This may indeed be a legitimate Fidelity number but I have no account relationship with them Also, very few people have my cell number. This was a scammer spoofing a Fidelity number. Talk to them at your peril.
- Caller: SCAMMER
- Scambuster| 1 replyNot a scam. It's for a Fidelity 401(K) account and they don't ask anything and give you a 800-557-1900 number to call for a company 401(K) account.
- Rob replies to ScambusterOr, it could be a spoofed number, as noted above. Unfortunately, as many of these people claim to be on the DNC and do not have a business relationship with Fidelity, these would be illegal calls, so questioning the circumstances is surely reasonable.
- BillThey called and left no message. If this is really Fidelity they should have left a message. I'm not going to answer a call from somebody I don't know.
- Caller: Fidelity?
- smash all telemarketersIs a legitimate general number for Fidelity. I actually do have Fidelity accounts, though work with one advisor, so should not be getting marketing calls from their reps. Will bring this to our advisor's attention, who will get it stopped.
- Caller: Fidelity
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JackieFidelity calling about investments
- Caller: Fidelity
- JackIt is a "spam" call for Fidelity to "help" you to manage your portfolio. There are so many funds out there, why should one want to pay extra to have an adviser! I have deselected all possible marketing communications in my account, yet they still make such spam marketing calls. Sound those "advisers" are too desperate, who cannot find better jobs.
- Call type: Unwanted
- Paul replies to Abc@xyz.comThis is a fraud do NOT answered or call this number back
- CalieIf Fidelty is calling, it should be on their caller ID! I never, ever answer calls or area codes that I don't recognize. Not professional at all not to have caller ID with the name listed. Don't know why they are bothering me. They didn't leave message. I will BLOCK it
- Caller: Fidelity?
- AmiiiUGH! Fidelity is calling me constantly- STOP! I never contacted you and asked for assistance. SO FREAKING ANNOYING!
- Caller: Fidelity?
- Call type: Valid
- Jesse replies to BuckGeez people, smh and face palm! Plastered all over Fidelity's website is a crystal clear warning- "WE WILL NEVER CALL YOU EVER''! IF WE NEED TO CONTACT YOU IN RELATION TO YOUR ACCOUNTS WITH US WE WILL SEND YOU A SECURE AND PRIVATE MESSAGE TO YOUR ONLINE ACCOUNT TELLING YOU TO CONTACT US BY ONLINE MESSAGING OR TELEPHONE"! The only small exception would be account fraud alerts which are sent via text message telling you to call them immediately! Guys this is the industry standard for almost all banking/financial , brokerage, investments and so forth- they never ever call you on the phone demanding your account info! This is basic common sense upon reaching adulthood and opening your first checking and or savings account! Also, a whole whopping 30 second trip to Fidelity's website very quickly reveals in their "contact us" section their entire phone number tree for every possible account need or question! Nowhere in their phone number listings is there anything BUT official 800 numbers for you to call, LOL! Unless you’re dealing with a small, local community bank, no financial institution would use a local area code to conduct business (603) 864-6488! This number is not listed anywhere on their website guys! As for people saying that the person introduces themselves as a Fidelity representative- LOL, is that all it takes to scam you and make you convinced as to their legitimacy! Come on folks, get smart and don't let people use you so easily! Mercy!!!
