This number is now texting me claiming to be a "wind" carrier 1-604-296-3230 is the actual number so its long distance, this is not from a location in Vancouver ! I texted back saying that I have contacted and reported them to CRTC and registered on DO NOT CALL LIST. I have no idea who they are, sorry :(  The only other alternative is to call police if harassment continues.

had them call this morning "on behalf of Canada revenue.  please supply me with your date of birth, and address including postal code"    yah,  no thanks.

Received 2 calls from this number. The person said i owed some money towards MSP and had to transfer this money to CBV's account !! (and there was no update  from BC services regarding this at all !!)

Recorded Voice: "We are calling you in an important business matter. Please stay on line."

Then being put on hold and nothing happens.

Answering these calls is like responding to email spam. If you answered, they verified it's an active line. The calls simply increase. I get calls from this number too. It's blocked on my handset but they still go straight to VM.

Just got this Fido account. Seems that the number was previously owned by a Deadbeat so now some equally useless low life hiding behind a spoofed number is trying to collect because he/she cannot qualify for a minimum wage job. Really sad how these collection types cannot get a real job...

I get a call every single day from this number too and it says please hold for an important business matter blah blah and then it hangs up!

I don't think that applies when you're not actually in debt, and this so-called "collection agency" is calling you for no reason in the first place.

Got a call from them when I am careful about who I give my number out to.  Only place I can think they got the number from was Royal Bank since I recently got a master card from them.  I don't know why they'd want to collect anything from me seeing as how I pay my credit card in full every month.

Calls once a day and after two rings hangs up

This number keeps calling me. I answer it and they immediately hang up!

They've been calling my three times a day since March twenty-first it's now April 30th..

Calls everyday at least twice. Hang out after some time.

They keep calling and calling - never keace a message - must be some scam - arrrggghhh - and this is on a new to us cell phone numbet

VERY ANNOYING , THEY CALL OFTEN, SAY THEY ARE COLLECTION AGENT, BUT WONT TELL YOU HOW MUCH MONEY U OWE OR WHY ??? when they persist on asking my name , middle name how to spell , date of birth etc.....i refuse, and ask them to send paper mail, so then they ASK FOR MY ADDRESS ??? they are a scam, just hang up

Received two calls from this number this morning and each time I tried to answer they hung up. I called them back and they were looking for someone who must have previously had my number (over 5 years ago). She said she removed my number from the database and it would take 24hours to get out of their auto-dial which is why no one answers when you pick up the call. Just give them a call and they can remove it. It is frustrating that the client is still providing my number to collectors after all this time as this is not the first agency I've had to deal with. Wish they could give me the client's info so I could tell them to stop falsely providing my information to these people.

this is not a number i recognize so i don't answer, but they have called us 5 times a day for the past 15  days and i'm sick of it!!!

I want this harassment to stop! Been getting long distance call 6-10 times a day!!! Im furious. Please end this.

They've been constantly calling me in the last 6 months without leaving a voicemail, often after 9pm local time. Looks like the right way to fight with them is to use the online Resolution Center (Consumer Protection BC's Online Dispute Resolution tool) as they're licensed in BC by Consumer Protection BC. This supposedly will force them to answer you and behave professionally, or they could face some penalty once the licensing authority is involved.
