Constant calling - not wanted

Calls about 3 times a day, already received confirmation of legitimate company and debt paid long time ago

Called on the pretense of being a collection agency for Revenue Services, saying I owed money. I told them I wanted to call Revenue Services myself and ask them. They gave me the number for Revenue Services, and I called. They looked up my account and said everything was in order. They also checked and said that they have not authorized anyone with this phone number to do any collecting for them.
I've been getting several calls from different numbers, giving me the same story and trying to get personal information from me to confirm they are talking to me!

The problem is that these people are not from a collection agent ... this is a scam to get your information. Not sure if it's tied to identity theft or credit card fraud, but it's definitely a scam.

called North Vancouver at 7:06 am on 9.29.17 ...didn't answer, don't recognize that number, now I am glad I didn't answer

This number calls numerous times in a day - morning, afternoon and evenings. No one will leave a voicemail message and if you pick up, it hangs up. Beware of scams

Annoying caller. I'm now getting up to 7 calls a day from this number. I simply pick up and hang up immediately.

If you have NEVER signed a contract with Cbv you have no obligation to answer them or return their calls. Sign nothing.
They buy old unpaid loans at pennies on the dollar. Theirs is a dieing business as people understand now that they, Cbv are actually powerless and just a nuance. Your credit is not based on their opinion.  They are only trying to capitalize on old debts. If you are able to pay the original bill to the original company do that but do not do any business with Cbv. They want you to be intimidated and pay them, but reasonably speaking, why would you?

Keep calling

Kept on calling even though I never answered any calls. Called 6 times a day.

a woman asks for a name and when I answer that the named person is not home she says "you know you are recorded and hangs up"

Calling saying owe money for an ambulance bill that I paid 2 months ago. Also call to say they are the CRA. Not sure if this number had anything to do with it but I've been going through a complete scam and identity fraud situation. Had to cancel my credit and debit cards, change my email etc. I may have given these guys too much information when they called saying they were the CRA. (I own my own business and knew that my taxes were maybe going to be off this year so I was expecting a call).  When I called CRA they said they would send mail before they start calling. And they only call if your way behind and owe. I'm blocking this number ASAP. Dirty filthy scammers. I'm so mad at myself for being so dumb, this has all been such a headache.

I’ve already submitted a formal complaint to police and the CRA about this number and today they called back, I didn’t answer. They told me in their previous call I owed a debt to Revenue Canada for fraud. But this isn’t the case and CRA confirmed it. CRA then directed me to their website to submit a report.

They call 2-6 times a day, alternating their phone numbers, 778-330-2273 , 778-330-2285 , 778-330-2289 , 778-452-2508 , 778-452-2455 , 778-330-2273 , 778-330-2284 , 884-396-3230 , 888-408-4728 , 866-344-6908 , 866-344-6909 . 866-344-6912 , 866-344-6908 , 250-470-1670 , 604-296-3230 ,604-296-3234 , 604-296-3238 ,800-672-2893 , 254-717-6404 , this is from May till today, they are all blocked, but they try up to 8 times a day Monday through to Saturday. I'm saving the the call logs untill I have enough to approach Telus and they can do something.

Calls me every day, woke me up this morning on my day off.. calls never go anywhere even when picked up

Every day, at least once.  It is in French.  HATE IT.

This number phones numerous  times a day starting early in the morning. Knly rings couple of times

Some message about Credit collecting for taxes. I called back and they claim my number not on list. Is a foreign person. I told them to remove me and they were abrupt and hung up. They are a scam and I block and they use another number

Goofs call relentlessly concerning a ambulance bill. I haven't taken an ambulance ever since I moved to be.  I told them it wasn't me but continusely harass me from three different numbers. Really getting annoyed now.
