like people who call especially Dell and then leave no message. I have been through this before. I guess it is my reward for trading with Dell. Ilike Dell but not the marketing tactics. They want to sell me more stuff i suppose.

Just got a call from this #.  The man was very hard to understand and seemed purposely deceptive.  Would not say the company he was calling from, just asked a lot of questions about our address, # of employees, etc.  We would not answer his questions until he said WHY he was calling and WHO he was.  Our receptionist finally got him to say "we're taking a survey about building occupancy".  She asked for a callback # for the manager to call him, but he said "we don't have a call back number, isn't there anyone else I can talk to?  I just have a few more questions"  She said "nope, sorry" and the [***] hung up.  ANNOYING!

    Die Telemarketer Die
Called my work number. Won't say where he is from but wants to ask me a ton of questions.  After reading other posts, I bet he got our number from Dell as we've never had calls like this until now and we just ordered toner directly from Dell after getting a new printer.  Sheesh!  Thanks a lot, Dell.

I think they are research calls for Dell. For me, I had just cancelled an order with Dell & they were calling to survey why I had canceled the order. I didn't answer at first & they called back insantly THREE times. I gave up the 4th time they called & answered. It isn't Dell, but Dell hires them to do research & surveys, I think.

I was on a chat session with Dell sales to determine the correct price for a monitor. I got transferred to another chat rep to help me and it took forever. I signed off saying that I had to leave and please e-mail me with the answer to my inquiry. This afternoon I received no less than 10 calls from 604-550-7031 without leaving a message.

    Info provider
Female caller asked to verify our company information and address changes.  Asked who she was and she said she was from Telesys and said they track company moving trends.  Since she already had most of our old and new information on file, it was mostly a matter of verification whether or not it was still accurate.  Declined to give her an updated fax number.  Don't really want our information sold to business-to-business buyers who would then spam fax us.  Accuracy is good, but I hate to give out too much information that can be used to market to us or used against us.  Did a ReverePhoneDetective search on the number and nothing turned up.  Telesys/Telesis is likely a bogus name or it could include Telesis Corporation which does list a call center among its many activities.  Call originates through Vonage, 604 is a British Columbia, Canada area code, but the call could originate from anywhere.

It is so odd reading all of the posts here.  I got a call from this same number, and they left a message saying they were with my local power company.  I'm confused at what has happened to make folks think it's Dell Computers.      ??????

A woman with an accent called said the company was Dulles (she actually spelled it for me).  She inquired about an old address of ours, and wanted to know if there was a suite number.  The call started to sound a lot like the toner sales companies who trick people into ordering toner even though they really didn't.  Anyway, once I told her we were at a new address, she then wanted to ask me about that address.  I explained that I was not comfortable giving her any information and that information about us was a matter of public recrd.  She persisted and said since I was on the phone with her I would be very helpful if I provided information....well I took care of that by not being on the phone with her anymore...click...dial tone.

Got a call around 9:30 PM from this number. I didn't pick up, answering machine picked up.  Got the tail end of a message, a man speaking clearly said "thank you for your call."  I guess they had asked me to call back.  Strange to see so many people think this is Dell.  A while back I was dumb enough to buy a Dell laser printer not knowing I would have to buy toner cartridges from Dell.  A long story, including they talked me into buying a package of six what they called "toner cartridges" that turned out to be boxes of toner powder.  I was able to return them, and did get a toner cartridge after several weeks.  I had to get an account with them to buy the stuff, so perhaps this call relates to that.  I learned the hard way: NEVER BUY FROM DELL!

I don't believe this number is a Dell number. I think they are scam artist trying to get account numbers. I have done a lot of business with Dell and use Dell financial services. Some woman from this number called me tonight and told me that part of my order had been canceled because Dell was changing the price on that product. She would replace the order at the original price if I would like. I said sure and she knew the order number, my name, address and phone number and then she asked for my Dell Preferred Account number. I terminated the call and called Dell directly. Wouldn't you know, my order was still processing and had not been canceled. People at this number are scam artist trying to get account numbers for fraudulent use. BEWARE OF THEM!!!!

I just got a call from a Dell sales representative from this number.  I had called to inquire about the cost of an extended warranty and this person wanted to know all of my personal information.  I refused to give it to him just to find out prices for lap top warranties.  About an hour later this same man calls my work number and asks for me.  When I ask who is calling he just continues to ask for me.  When I ask him may I take a message for the person he wants to speak to he tells me to tell the person to "stick it up her butt."  I looked up the number to find out the call came from Dell.  This guy just lost Dell a sale and I will nerver buy anything else from them again.  I do not want to do business with a company who treats potentiaL customers in this manner.

Five minutes ago I was talking to some Dell customer rep at the following ph# 703-880-6100 trying to buy a WDE1UBK10000N external drive. They post the price at $89.99 with free shipping. When you add it to your cart it adds taxes and $10.99 shipping. When I asked why, the person on the phone replied that it only can give me an accurate price if I provide all my personal info - so I refused and hang up. In less that 10 second a call comes in from 604-550-7031, same voice, same person that I talked to and started swearing at me: " f**K you! f**K you! f**K you!...." I could not believe my ears - I just hung up. Wondering if anyone experienced such a thing and also what can be done about it?? I can be reached at leo_lazar@yahoo.com Thank you!
