Company trying to solicit for vehicle selling services

None of these guys are legit. There are all kinds of companies like this who claim to have a "buyer" for your car. It's a scam--they don't have buyers for your car, and it's really hard to get your money back.

These F**&*ing clowns left a message on my machine. Total scam to try to sell your car for a fee (yeah right), more like bend over while I steal your walet. This comes up as EVM on call display. Call comes from the armpit of BC - Surrey. Maybe I can trace the location so I can kick in their door go all "epic beard man" on them.

Hahaha, called me trying to get my VISA so they can jack my money, and pretend to help me sell my car.

Only thing that'll get sold is my pride!  
I didn't sell it to them though.  Damn scammers!

Called me saying that my car has been advertised for a long time and I need to pay a fee. Asked for my Visa information. All my advertisement has been online via free classifieds list. Scam.

I let the number go to voicemail.

Some [***] just left me a voice mail to call her back.  Seriously, I'm supposed to call long distance from toronto to bc ... so they can ask me to pay them $$?

There is also a company here in toronto pull the same crap, there fee is $500 with a money back garauntee.  Read the fine print, you need a lawyer to even get a $1 back.  They require a lawyers notarization and proof from the ministry that the car has not sold.  So what about the FRIGGEN buyers you have lined up?

I got a call from this number as well, "RENU" left a message.  These companies constantly change names because they keep gettin in sh*&t.  Probably same or similar company to Great Cars and Trucks, or Global Auto Registry.  Best of all, our ad said NO SOLICITORS, she will be getting a piece of my mind if she calls back...

While there are many companies who operate in an unethical manner, and simply are interested in taking your money, Empire Vehicle Solutions Inc. is not one of them.

I can certainly understand any concern, or caution a person may take when receiving a call from any type of solicitor.

Empire Vehicle Solutions Inc has been in business for just under 2 years, and has not changed nor felt the need to change it's operating name. We are available for those in the Surrey, BC area in person should you wish to consult with an agent directly at our office.

Unlike many companies who make bogus claims, we do NOT tell people nor imply that there are actual buyers waiting for their vehicle.

On a daily basis, we DO receive numerous calls from buyers who have come across any advertisement posted by us, and take the opportunity to match these buyers with a seller who is selling a vehicle matching their needs, within their area.

Unlike most cold call based sales, we target our sales to those in the industry which we work within. Our goal is to assist sellers find a buyer.

Empire Vehicle Solutions Inc is one of the only companies in British Columbia who actually has a financing team available. Offering financing as an OPTION allows sellers with high priced vehicles to sell their vehicles to those who otherwise may not be interested. This process as noted is "OPTIONAL" and not required by all sellers, or situations.

Once again our goal is mutual of those sellers, in that we want to see the vehicle sold quickly, and for a fair market value. Unfortunately, this is not always possible, which is generally the root of most concerns posted online.

My car is for sale, EVM contacted me trying to charge me $400 to help me selling my car. They are claiming that they do have a client willing to buy it at my listed price.
My number is in the No Call list & my add clearly showing no solicitation.

Hmmm, wonder why their "client" couldn't seem to find your listing, just like they did LOL.

Just received this call in response to my car ad. Glad I checked before calling, thanks guys!

I got scammed by these guys.  Paid $500 to help sell my car (super busy at the time) and now 7 months later......nothing, notta, not one phone call to help sell my car or from prospective buyers.  Save your $$$ and sell it yourself.  Total waste of time and money!

Same experience. paid only $300.00 though, and as of today 8 months later not one phone call was responding to their ads. I requested the ad be changed periodically and the changes werent made. Changed the asking price on several occasions and it did'nt get changed.
Once they have your money the service ends.
I complained and got back $200.00 ( took awhile but they did send a cheque ).
The car has been sold and the buyer saw one the the ads I made myself.
Avoid the hassle and dont pay/use these guys.

Got a call from these guys less than 24 hours after i posted an ad on craigslist for a newer used car. they sounded legit, and what makes them sound it is their claim to offer financing to prospective buyers. i can only imagine what - if they actually do - charge as an interest rate to desperate people wanting a vehicle. i highly doubt that they do, though, as it must be pretty lucrative for them to cold-call craigslist advertisers and ask for $200-500 to list a car on their website when one is already listing on a national website for free. they re-list ads. what makes them frauds is saying they have buyers lined up and that they offer financing when they either don['t.
