- Ron Swanson replies to Peter Knowles| 1 replyDear Mr. Knowles and All Concerned Consumers,
The purpose of this reply is to: (i.) address Mr. Knowles post; (ii.) update my prior post stated herein; and (ii.) comply with a request from CVS Customer Service Manager, Tom Roberts, as it relates to my overall experience wtih Classified Vehicle Solutions.
Regarding Mr. Knowles post & comments- based on first hand knowledge his opennig statement is not accurate. In fact, based on my experience with Classified Vehicles Solutions I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Your customer service is poor at best; rarely does anyone answer the phone and getting back to customers takes days and weeks. Worst of all, are the boiler plate Terms & Conditions that you place on your customers regarding your Refund Policy, which is not user frieindly and in my humble opinion amounts to legal theft.
Respectfully Submitted,
Ron Swanson

Regarding my first post, I only want to add that after numerous calls, emails, ffiling my 1st post, and lastly filing a formal dispute letter with Master Card they finally responded. Unfortunately, by then it was to late, the credit card company reversed the charges. For whatever reasons they insisted on sending me a refund check even though the bank corrected the problem. The check finally arrived and it was deposited as requested - it actually cleared. Now I'm faced with a new problem: I actually owe them. I haven't heard back from the bank yet on how to handle that one; however, I can assure all for all the time, paper and postage that's been wasted a handling (back) charge will be assessed.
Conclusion: One shouldn't have to go through so much [***] to get a legitmate refund on services not rendered (emphasis added). - Ron Swanson replies to Ron SwansonCorrection - the Customer Service Manager's name is not Tom Roberts. It should read "John Roberts"
Footnote - I received a phone conversation from John Roberts on or about 1-12-2012 regarding this post and the money due CVS. He agreed to a back charge of $100 and also agreed that nobody should have to put up with such [***] service. Unlike CVS, I mailed the check out promptly!! - Sean| 1 replyThis Company is a fraud, under no circumstances list you vehicle with them. They called me every day for a week to get me to list my car with them. They claimed to have multiple buyers lined up looking for my specific car and the car should be sold in a few weeks. Since listing with them I have had NO inquires about the car and have tried to reach them via multiple phone messages and a dozen email requests. When I enquired as to where they had my car advertised they sent me two websites where the advertising was free, what was I paying for? Again do not sign up with this company, they will take your money and you will never hear from them again.
- Lee replies to SeanI fell for the Classified Vehicle Solutions scam. I had my car listed on kijiji and many similar services called and I passed on them but CVS sounded pretty legit. The thing that got me was the guy said he was originally from my area. He even rattled off some small towns nearby, in hindsight he was obviously just looking at google as part of the 'act'. He said they had 2 buyers nearby that are pre-approved and have indicated they are looking for a car like mine. He said most cars sell within a week and that my car was their biggest seller so it would be gone in days! Well that was far from the truth, I never heard from them again. A few times I called and emailed to see why nothing was happening and they would eventually call back after a few threats and say " oh their is a sale pending on your car, in a few days the paper work should be ready and you'll get a call" Nothing!
After the 90 days and doing everything they asked including paying a lawyer to notarize the refund form and $30 to send it registered airmail to them it came back and said they had moved! I called CVS and after about a week they called back and said "it must have been a mix up at the post office just send it again" I did, another $30 to send it and nothing since, no response to phone messages, dozens of emails, NOTHING!
I don't know who I am more angry at, these DISHONEST SCAMMERS or myself for falling for it.

- Bill replies to WilliamI understand your pain! Classified Vehicle Solutions is the biggest ripoff! They promised to sell my car in 90 days, said they already had buyers lined up and approved. Once I paid the fees, they took my money and screwed me! I have left several messages over the past 3 months, but for some stupid reason, these numbnuts can't seem to pull their heads out of their a&* to call me back! I've had it and now they will pay the price! I have filed a class action lawsuit because it sounds like they screwed alot of people over including me. If anyone is interested in getting in on the action, contact a local attorney and let's get the ball rolling, get our money back and make Classified pay for all the f#@% ups!!
- Dan PiedraThis is a complete scam .. I fell for it ... I did talk them down to only $150 but in four months of having the ad up it generated nothing ... I actually sold the car in 2 months but left it up on purpose. They are complete liars and give you some BS about having left it up for beyond the 12 weeks like it was a special favour. Stay away from them.
