Someone entered their sweepstakes and listed your number.  You can count on plenty of calls with heavy foreign accents telling you what you have just won (if you will WU them a deposit/shipping/confirm your bank account, etc).  PCH doesn't make money selling magazines, but by selling LISTS with all of those checkboxes (household income, hobbies, children, age, etc) to anyone willing to pay, including foreign and domestic scammers.

Outlaw telemarketing calls and only outlaws will make telemarketing calls.  So, at least if you are on DNC, you know with better certainty that any caller you receive is trying to scam you, rather than being legit and fearful of being fined.

Thought they stopped after put on block and then they are back.  They ARE URBAN TERROTIST THAT SHOULD GO TO PRISON.

Just received a call from this number; CID showed "Private."  Pressed the "auto answer" button on the fax function of my MFP.

Come on dude, calling every 15 minutes? You can do a lot better. I literally tied  up their lines yesterday and today calling 2-3 times a minute. If you have nothing to say, just give them the silent treatment. Anything to tie up their lines so they can't screw others.

The caller, ID as " Not available" ( displayed on my phone ), I intoned not to answer, Later, I returned the call without showing my number. She said;" Jane , credit service.". I asked her " Why you called me earlier?"  before she hung up, I told her not to call again.  Many people reported this unwanted number with few thousand words with www.800notes.com. since 07/15/2014. On lunar calendar 07/15, moon is full & it is ghost dad, Ghost come out for big treatment.  People in Asia prepare pork and  a lot excellent to feed ghost & burn ghost money for  them to use.
I reported this number to www.donotcall.gov . & www.fcc.gov/complaints, later can fine them 100,000.00 to 200,00.00 USD.

Yes, these are just robo calls checking to see who will answer and what time of day so that they can call you back just to scam you. Do not call them back. And don't answer. Just let your machine pick up.

Hi when I get these calls from scammers I wait until they start speaking, then I tell them I have something for them and then I blow a metal whistle into the phone as hard as I can. If every person  they called started doing that I wonder how many people they could keep working for them. It might not take you off their calling list  but it will make you feel better to cause them some aggravation for a change.
