Got a call from "Microsoft" saying they had records of my computer being full of viruses.  Then the man told me to turn on my computer so he could remote to it.  I laughed at him and told him "Nice try idiot!" and hung up the phone.  This is a scam!!!!!!!  Microsoft does not have records of viruses on any computer and they don't initiat the call.

Just got a call at my business. They asked for a specific person who has not worked here for at least 10 years  and I told him that.  Then he asked my name, I told him my first name then he said may I ask you what your age is and I said no and hung up...

Called my home phone 10:04 am ONtario. I have received these calls before and couldn't get rid of the "microsoft" guys.
This time I did not answer the call, they did not leave a message.

These [***] just called us, and they kept my mom on the phone for two hours, and from what i could tell, they talked her into making a complete mess of the computer. My mom's older, she's not computer literate, and she fell for it.
I'm now going to be contacting Microsoft to see about fixing whatever they talked her into installing. We've had the bank hotcard her account, and they'll be sending a new one this week.

For me it was a friend of mine calling from Bogota, Colombia.  She dialed from a cafe internet and sometimes when she calls me this specific number shows up.  Since she can't dial long distance from her cell phone it's cheaper for her to use a local network shop to place international calls.  So, if the person leaves a message it could be a long distant caller.

I've gotten a number of calls from this number.  They call me by my first name and say they're from Education Ink and want me to get a degree.

Caller ID says Branch Comfort 607-363-9777.

Got a call from this number just now.  Said my computer was sending out errors.  Yeah right.  I remember reading this on here when I checked out another number they called from a few days ago.  This one said "Payphone" on my caller ID.  I hung up on them.

Just revived a call from this number, saying they were with Microsoft and that my computer was at risk with a virus of sorts and I needed to register by computer, and I had been unknowingly making payments for an anti-virus program that came with my computer. They wanted access to my computers serial number and other identification to fix the problem. I didn't feel comfortable with this so, said I had "things to do" and would maybe call back later. After looking up this number I'm so glad information wasn't given out, go with your gut, if it doesn't feel right, it likely isn't. The caller named Angel, said that to call her back her number was 1-888-920-6093 ext 0425, but the number that showed up on my caller ID was 1-607-363-9777.
NEVER GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION IF YOU ARE NOT SURE THAT YOU CAN TOTALLY TRUST THE PERSON ON THE OTHER END OF THE LINE!

607 363 9777 called my ex directory number in uk when i answered no reply so must be on a system autto dialer then a recorded message said goodbye and ended the call at 1120am GMT UK 25th  AUG 2014

caller said he had information on an IRS case.  I hung up.  he repeatedly called back from different numbers and claimed there would be a warrant for my arrest in 1 hour.  i asked him to explain.  he said that "was my problem".

These a**holes called at 7:50am, wtf, we work  long hours and these a**holes woke us up.  Good thing I didn't get the phone.  They call back, they will be sorry.

I have received 2 calls from this number now. The first was yesterday (Oct 7, 2014 at 4 pm) at the last was at 8 am this morning. No answer when I say hello, just dead air. Will not answer it again. Thank you for this service.

Spammers! They said IRS is on to me and its the final notice.. Seems like bunch of guys in one room with bunch of magic jacks.

They are IMPERSONATING the IRS and telling you there will be legal action. Do not answer. Report them immediately.

In October I received a phone call of 607-363-9777 claiming IRS saying that IRS is suing against me through machine voice without any details. Requested to call back. The call back number is not legitimate IRS number. I knew it was scam. If it is from IRS, IRS would not call you directly. Tax season is coming. IRS also noted a lot of bad people around there trying to use IRS name to steal personal information. Talk to your tax advisers directly and notify IRS. Left message that I was being sued by the IRS  607-363-9777 is the number that showed up on my caller ID.

They called my cell phone and introduced as IRS. Left a message saying IRS is filing law suite against us.
Please be careful!!!
They also use number 202 241 8390 to call back.
