Awesome.  Will put their number into a war dialer and call them back every ten seconds 24/7 until their system crashes.  Remember when everyone else was proactive in taking care of themselves?

You're far from having "common sense" and more so "Captain Shills-a-lot".
The junk you spew is comparable to elementary school / junior high peer pressure.
    - "Afraid they'll get the info they ALREADY have?  Bet you're afraid of your shadow, too.  What are they going to de at the absolute worst?  Ask you personal questions you can either not answer, or just lie about."
    - "They already have your number, afraid they'll get it again?"
Are you a child? You are certainly actin like one.

Regardless of method, calling back remains insane.

The con man's #1 trick since the beginning of time is to make the rube come to them. Calling back is running a con against yourself. That's insane

    Do not ignore Moonshine Maker!!!!

I received a $600.00 phone bill on my first pc. A old virus "Dialer" pgm did it. It was a program that dialed from your number and set it as a collect call that I supposedly approved-- for which the phone company paid to Scammer.

WOULD it not be interesting if the lowest of low text came back in style

Think of that single engine-one torpedo plane in WWII -no technology-circling the most awesome battleship ever- the German Bismark-so sophisticated it's anti-aircraft guns were set for fighter jets and not simple low speed reconisence planes its ack-ack simlly missed.
Best of all the torpedo hit tho only vulnerable spot-the rudder-every allied ship at sea caught up to it and sank it. Beware low tech being missed by all firewalls.

Listen to Captain (completely lacking in) Common Sense at your peril. His "advice" will do you no good and could quite possibly cause serious harm. It's pure dumb luck no one got killed in the scenario below. Scammers have nothing better to do than harass you. Giving them a reason to is insane.

Do any of you have SiriusXM radio?  I have my cell listed as the POC number.  At first when I started getting these calls I could not figure out how they knew the make and model of the vehicles I own.  When they started asking for the vehicle that I don't own but have on the XM account I finally put two and two together.   SiriusXM sold my info!  They have consistently denied doing it, but how else would this "Warranty" people get the number? I don't own the vehicle, nor does the fleet service center have my number.  DMV does not sell it.  The Bank does not have my cell number nor do they sell the info otherwise I'd be getting calls at home.

Bismark was not set for fighter aircraft, they didn't exist until long after the Bismark was on the bottom on May 26, 1941. The first operational jet fighter was the Messerschmitt in April 1944.  The guns of the Bismark were set for the speed of prop driven aircraft but not for the relatively slow speed of the biplane which sent the torpedo into her rudder

It was Pat from auto warranty with yet another last chance to purchase their bogus warranty.  Pat could not tell me if Pat was short for Patricia or Patty because Pat is a computer program which responds to known questions.  Likewise, Pat can't tell you that the sky is blue, whether she spits or swallows, but you can waste plenty of their time and yours asking questions so that they can't call someone else

So bascially you called back but still didn't find out who it was. What, then, was the point? If they don't identify themselves when they call or they don't leave a message, why bother calling to find out who they are? It obviously wasn't important or of benefit to you.

Extended Auto warranty call. When it sent me to an "agent" and I told him my car was 6 months old and I was still covered under my warranty. He then tells me it's only factory and I need to buy more coverage. I told him I sell my cars before the bumper to bumper coverage sells out and he huffed and hung up on me.

a cell phone in N. FL
Rang twice, I answered, no response, hung up immediately on them. I usually NEVER answer unknown numbers, but was waiting for a call from an unfamiliar number at the time.
