Now that makes sense.  They called about a warranty on a leased car I traded in 18 months ago.  And I had SiriusXM radio on that car.  I have blocked the phone number but would love to find an attorney that would make these scam artists pay since I'm on the Do Not Call List and I have never had any business relationship with these people.  Even though I have blocked the call, I can still see when they call, it just doesn't ring.

Allentown, NJ. Said they were "Pat Collins" and it was a woman speaking. I hung up since I don't know anyone by that name in that area.

Call and Hang-up  I travel to NJ area frequently for business and I always get weird call when I connect into the local network.  Makes you wonder if somebody is targeting "out-of-network" users?

    30 Years of Telecom
I've been in Telecom 30 years.  Regulatory rules are changing, so I don't know how much of this scammers are getting away with, but, maybe you won't get billed for calling back, but whoever manages that number could be getting a kick back from YOUR provider for accepting the call.  It used to be called reciprocal compensation where providers pay each other to accept the call from you and terminate to the number you are calling and vice versa.  Moral of the story as already said here, don't call back, and even if they leave a message, call back with caution, could still be a scam.  For example, if you get a call from your bank or credit card, do call that number back or any number they leave, call the number on your bank statement or your credit card to be sure it was actually your bank or credit card calling.

Offer of extended warranty (final notice) on a vehicle.  When I asked which vehicle...the answer was the one you use the most.  Again I asked which vehicle.  No reply.........Chooch hangs up the phone.

Guy I was connected to after the recording would not tell me the name of the company he worked for or let me speak to a supervisor, he said he was the supervisor and that I wouldn't listen to him so he was hanging up on me and he did. Total disrespect and talked over me the whole time. I worked in telemarketing for a few years and he broke every violation he possibly could have. I hope someone investigates this company he said "he worked for Car Dealer Services"
I'll be making every possible inquiry I can to get this investigated and hopefully companies like this will go away because it's people like that has got this country in the shape that it's in. Scamming, rude, unjustifiable people. What a waste of time.

Another scumbag trying to sell warranty extensions on vehicles that mostly don't exist.
Conversation starts with "we've already sent you several notices! This is your final notice!"
Me: "Really? Final notice of what?"
Scumbag: "your vehicle warranty. If you don't act now we'll have to close your account." (they couldn't tell me WHAT vehicle)
Me: "go ahead & close it"!  [click]

Claimed To Be "National Dealer Services"......

Was A Computer Woman And Not A Live Person - You Can Tell By Asking If They Are A Live Person, And The Fake Laugh They Respond Back With To Say They Are A Real Person....   Also - Ask A Dumb Question And They Ignore It And Just Continue On.....

Anyway - She Wanted To Know If I Was Receiving The Letters They Were Sending And Didn't Miss A Beat When I Told Her I Wasn't - And Went On To Ask How Many Miles Were On My Car.....

Soooooo, It's A Scam Car Warranty Kinda Call I Guess.... I Told Her To Close Out My File, I Wasn't Interested...

She Continued Again With "How Many Miles Are On Your Car ?"  - I Responded With "How Many Miles Were On Her Car ?"

But Since She Was A Computer Simulation, She Ignored That.... That's When I Just Told Her I Wasn't Talking To A Computer And That I'm Hanging Up Now, Which I Did.....

I May Be Wrong, But I Picture Them Collecting For A Warranty And When I Finally Have A Claim - To Deny The Claim For Whatever The Reason..... So, No.....

This company calls several times a day. I finally answered thinking I was going to waste their time. The first person didn't know what kind of car I had and the second ended up calling me a "stupid fu****g transexual." Unfortunately, I did not get the company name but it was for a car warranty. I'll make sure to get the name next time.

I don't answer unknown calls. Didn't leave a vm so I knew it was a scam call. My warranty isn't about to expire because I don't have one. Joke's on them!

Called at 1:21pm. Diverted by a service I subscribe to that intercepts robo-dialed calls (rhymes with SoNoHobo). I called back (*67) and got a live person who said Thanks for calling us back, what's your name? and I hung up. Looking at the previous posts I suppose CPUSA is supposed to be Consumer Protection USA — new front for the old credit card rate change game.
