I have 2 phones with 801 - both are cell & certainly not Magic Jack - just thought I would let you know

Got a call from this number at 9:30pm!  That erks me big time, just get the kids to sleep and try to relax for a few minutes only to be interrupted by these losers that use auto dial and no one responds when you pick up.

Received a call from this number and although I don't usually answer, I did this time - the  caller hesitated then asked for my son who was at work, and asked me if I spoke French - to which I answered - a bit - and she said she would call back - next time I will not pick up!

I had a call from this no. earlier today.  If I do not know who is calling me I do not answer  They did not leave a message so figured it was another crank call.   I am getting fed up with these calls and wish that they could be stopped.

It's not the Conservative party, it's a marketing company they use called RMG, they don't care if you don't want to be called, they get paid either way. The party will unlikely ever even hear your feedback.

It really is the Conservative party soliciting funds... trust me I know... I got the call... but she was a nice girl from the east coast... just trying to make a living working as a telemarketer!

Just got a call from this number.  The gentleman said he was calling on behalf of Stephen Harper and the conservative party.  He went into his spiel (quite a long one) about how Thomas Mulcair and the NDP would destroy the country with their ideology.  Then he asked for a $200 donation to help fund a smear campaign against Thomas Mulcair!!!  I laughed.  Then I told him that I don't contribute to political parties.  After a long pause he said, "How about your wife?"  :D

just received a call from this number. they asked for Sherry Rausland. they said sorry and hung up. nothing was ever mentioned about politics or donations.

Stop calling my cell phone.  I am NDP not PC.  I won't give you money.

Got one of these tonight. I have no idea how they decided this middleaged woman would be a Conservative supporter. I am an NDP party member, have voted NDP all my life and live in the middle of Hamilton Centre, NDP territory.

This kind of call makes me want to vote Conservative even less, though it's hard to put my likelihood of voting for them as a negative number.... Do your research and leave me alone.

I have found that if I put an accent on for marketing calls and tell them they are through to CSIS and all calls received by me must be logged when there is a human voice... you should hear how quickly and how awkwardly that phone gets slammed down LOL

have now blocked these idiots!!!!!  just wish there were a way to stop them from point of origin so do not need to block 30 sources of irritating unwanted calls to begin with!!!!!!!

613-801-0497....this number calls several times a day, 7 days a week. No caller ID, leaves no voice message. If you call the # back a message come on "you have called the Conservative Party of Canada"

How do you get these calls blocked ???

They keep calling and calling and calling - apparently they haven't learned yet that nobody ever answers our phone unless we know exactly who is calling.

This number calls every other day. When I see the number on my display, I just lift my receiver briefly and hang up.

Persistent buggers have been calling for years. Fortunately my phone never rings thanks to my Android's call blocking app. :-D
