- Rebekah99Keep getting calls daily from this number... no msg left.
- JaneGot a call from this number, was a call centre, but the guy told me he was calling on behalf of TD VISA, not RBC, but yes same thing selling coverage for identity theft
- Call type: Telemarketer
- BaladeenI have also in the last couple of days started to get calls from this number.
I will answer next time they call and I will ask them to call me back on another number, and I will give them RCMP number instead. - StopBuggingMe!I really appreciate the RBC tip. This number calls here 2-3x daily - clearly not from North American time zones - because they call before 7am and after 9pm. No one in household has any RBC dealings - nor have they ever, so they are not calling because they have legal access to customer databases, using old contact lists, etc...
We are on the DO NOT CALL list, so the question begs to be asked .... why
are they calling?! I will report the number. If we all take a moment to do so, collectively we can stop at least one of these nuisances. - StopBuggingMe! replies to LakHakOh dear LakHak. I am assuming you know what monthly Credit Alert Service
is, and that you ultimately don't need it?
I was dismayed that you offered them any info before cluing into the phishing scam. Please in the future, do not give them ANY information including your email address. Even if you no longer use the account number you gave them, they can use that address to tap into your IP account and obtain any information about you they want.
I know they can be persuasive, but the rule of thumb is: if they call you, you are under no obligation to provide them with any information. If you are interested in their offer, offer to call them back. NO legitimate business will say no to that ... - KentonEVERYONE! - catheirne-me too! every day... argh!!!
- tickedI answered the phone, they asked for my husband. I said he wasn't home could I take a message? She responded that she was calling on behalf of RBC and when would be the best time to call... I replied he is on nights and sleeps during the day, may I ask him what it is in reference to? She replied that it had to do with credit protection and identity theft protection... I had already checked on this site the first time she called so I already knew. I have also received calls from 416-233-0047 claiming to be doing a telephone survey (they are more rude and not as persistent though) Has anyone been scammed by this 613-932-0365 or 416-233-0047? I sure hope not!!!
- Call type: Survey
- tickedok..... so I discovered that the number is registered to Bell Canada so I called them and at the automation I punched in the 613-932-0365... got disconnected twice (second time the automated voice came back on and said the Bell Service Centre was closed). So the third time I put in my number (I am registered to Bell) and the guy said there is really nothing he can do unless I had fallen victim of anything. But apparently their website has a tech on hand that you can chat with 24/7... haven't tried yet. Also called RBC and all they said was they had received phone calls about this number already and that I just need to request to be taken off their list. He took the number and told me he would report it to his manager (hopefully he does). I would hate to see anyone ripped off by this... good luck to all!!!
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Call your bankI have been receiving about 10 calls a day from this number. I came here and read all the comments. Since I keep missing these annoying calls, I decided to call my Visa company and ask what was up. They said that they DO have a company out east that calls for solicitation on behalf of Visa, and he couldn't confirm their number. So I asked to be put on their no-call list. We will see what happens.
I also reported the 613-932-0365 number at the following site: https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/plt-cmp-eng - GWe've received about four calls from this number in the past three days. If they are indeed claiming to represent RBC, they are in breach of the Do Not Call list, because we have never, ever done any business with RBC. Sounds phishy!
- AndyEveryone whould write a complaint to the CRTC about this number:

- ElleI want to thank everyone for posting here.
This number keeps appearing on my cellphone lately but I keep missing the calls. I remember they contacted me months ago regarding my RBC account and requested that I do some sort of free upgrade for a month regarding identity security and then pay monthly for it. I said no to them at the time and that if I was interested in their offer I would contact RBC in the future. I was annoyed by the idea that they (who I thought was the RBC) wanted to charge me more money for protection against someone stealing my information from them. Glad I was skeptical at the time and it seems funny now that I know who was really calling.
I am very annoyed by the thought that my cellphone number and name was given to these people as only a handful of businesses have this number as my contact information. I have added my number to the DNCL and want to thank everyone again for sharing this information. - KrisI got about ten calls from them in the last few day, i don't usally pick up the phone if it is unknown but i started after the 4th one and it's allways the same thing no one is there, the other thing i noticed is it is almost allways on the hour, and they have never left a message, i have never even been in a RBC so i have no idea.
16139320365 - ChelsIf you call this number back you can leave a message to be taken off of their call list.
- kakaThey have called me every day pretty much for 2 weeks, today they called 3 times! Whenever they call its usually inconvenient so I can't pick it up , but finally I could. The woman knew me by my full name and told me she was selling protection insurance and affiliated with RBC which made me listen obviously because thats my bank... but it sounded so fishy so I cut her off and asked her to take my number off their calling list which she said she would.
They better not call again! - FredSame here...same damn thing..on my cell.
I just emailed "beautyrock". Tomorrow I'm closing my bank account with RBC.
I hate RBC. I hate banks. Evil [***] steal from you and then give your number to other [***].
I'm going with a credit union.
I suggest you ALL stop doing business with RBC. They are evil.- Caller: RBC & BRI
- AshleyThis number calls me every day. I never answer it since it's unknown and never leaves a message. No Caller ID appears at any time. They also call at all hours of the day - it's not just in the afternoon. I actually just got a call from them like two minutes ago -_-
- Also...I don't even bank with RBC and they're calling me constantly >:
