I just received call from 613 944 4000 and told me I am calling from cic he wants some more info from me so told him let me connect to local police and he hangup. Please if anyone call with this number or other number please do not give your info or money to them this is BIG SCAM is going on and police and rcmp know about them.

I also received a phone call today exactly as everyone is discussing.
A very rude lady with aggressive manner said that she was calling from Immigration and that the call was being recorded. She warned me that I cannot hang up the phone, I said of course I can and I am.
Please warn everyone in your circle about this issue. Some people might feel threatened and nervous to aggressive criminals like this.
DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION ABOUT YOU, they will ask for your first name, your cell phone number, anything from you.

This phone call me and telling me (A lady voice) that i am from CIC and they filed a complaint against me. I hang up.

How scaring is this gang ! They know to dodge and make a person fool. I had twice call from this number and harping on the same story that they have a file for not filing the form and get ready to be deported or otherwise waive this off by depositing $ 2450.00  which will be returned to you when you reach airport and sign the papers with CBSA there. What a 'Bluff". They should rightly taken over by the authorities to avoid to make fools to the innocent.

I got same call and the person said his name is Jay Talor (Indian accent)

I recieved a call today with a person talking to me in english.He told me that I have a case for my deportition and when I was arguing with him he transfered to a translator in in my lannguage.He explained and tried to rip me off with $1350 and when I hang up he tried to reach me again calling my number he asked my cell phone but i did not give him my number.He told me that if I do not comply with him my file will be transferred to rcmp and they will arrest my family if I am not home and they will get me too as well

I got 2 calls from Canadian immigration and they said they received complaint from Embassy of Canada abroad about me and will call RCMP arrest me even though I did nothing wrong.

Call from 6139444000 - caller with poor Indian accent, calling himself Jay - CIC the Canadian Embassy has a lodged an Immigration case against you...and so on. I called him a terrorist and he became very agitated and hung-up.

Some Lady or Gents call me  whose  name was Roy , roy parker might be I don’t understand  thn she transferred to some one who  tell me that i  am calling u  from CIC and they  filed a complaint against me. I hang up.

wife got call at home number from  613-944-4000, claiming  to be CIC officer, telling her that a case has been  filed with Canadian Embassy in your native country and RCMP will take action. she got panicked and gave my cell # and Someone with Thick Indian Accent called me i asked their name and badge # and he gave JAY PAYLOR and CA1594. I asked them to send me case information by registered mail he got frustrated and hung up. So I called the number back and indeed it was Canadian Immigration and even before i could finish my sentence about the call She told me right away that it is NOT them , it is a SCAM and RCMP, Foreign Affairs Canada and Canada Immigration are investigating these calls. Plz Do not give any personal information to these people.

I had the exact same experience today. The phone number that got displayed is 0116139444000 which is a bit tricky because if you look at just 6139444000, then this is a number for canada international agency. Do not ever give any information on the phone.

I think by now Canadians should now that NO Government agency or banks and financial institutions would ever ask you about your personal information over phone ever.I snubbed the caller and hung up never to pick this number again.

I got a call from the same number ,they told me that you are gonna arrested if you do not corporate,and he asked me how long have you been in canada. But i just tell them that i cannot give you my personal information on phone ,so i asked their office in toronto .They said your file is in ottawa cic headquarter.However i told them i can send my lawyer in ottawa ,but then he cut the call( and also putting me in pressure that they are gonna send police and rcmp) . I just have a request to you people that do not give your id information's to any one on phone.They might talk to you in perfect english accent ,but do not worry and please do not give your information.

yes ,they also said you that they are from your home country Canadian embassy ,and you forget to fill up a legal paper called  IMM 1000 ,but do not worry it is a fake call. and do not give your full name or date of birth.and even sometimes they do not know what is your home country.

I have received the exact same call from this number and they threatened to deport me to my home country. After making false accusations, they said the RCMP is following me and have a warrant against me. First it was a lady who called and spoke very rudely and later passed on the call to someone named James (with an Indian accent).They claimed that everything I say is being recorded but failed to provide any credibility in their words.

Received the same call from 6139444000 saying he is calling from CIC and there is legal case and an arrest warrant against me.  Told him I'll be at home waiting for the RCMP to come get me, he hung up.

Call came from this same number today.  Same exact text that canadian embassy in my native country lodged a case against me. An arrest warrant has been issued and i will be deported back by the next flight. And i wont be able to return to Canada for next 15 years. To avoid, i need do OOCR. Out of court resolution for a fee if 2800 dollars.  He said his officer will come to my home to register this and collect money.  I told him not to come home but come to my lawyers office. He said the deal is only with me.  He was rude and couldnt understand his English.name is Roberts and when i refused to pay he threatened that i will be arrested by RCMP today. And hang up.  While i was googling call came 2 more times.  What a pity...

I also got the same call and I new it from very first sentence that they are fraud.
