- johnI'm sick of these calls, I still call 5 times a day, and my answer will be this: I am so violent that they should not have called my phone number, do not know who they got.
- SJThis number calls my house at least 10 times a day. You pick up the phone, and no one answers. You let the call go to your voice mail, and they don't leave a message. This is really annoying.... How can I stop getting these phone calls???

- LNI get calls from Comenity at all hours of the day from numbers listed in previous postings. I (like many listed) have answered with no one there. These people need to stop! Calling at 8 in the morning is against the law. Looked the numbers up and it's from Ohio. I don't answer my phone if I don't know the number. Don't have a VS account and pay bills on time! They need to stop! Just this morning have had 6 calls alread starting at 8:05 am & with a 913 area code. Leave a message if you want to speak with me. I MIGHT call you back.

- CrystalI kept getting harrassing phone numbers from 614-729-6035 and it was nonstop. It was driving me crazy. Finally I thought I have to get in touch with them and find out why they are calling me. I was very rude to these people because they quite frankly had pissed me off. It surprised me that the lady I got was very nice to me so that calmed me down. She told me they were calling over a CJ Banks acct. that I have that was past due. I looked through my checking and they were right I had forgot to pay my March payment and I had taken it off my checking just never wrote the check. LOL. At the top of my statement was Comenity-Christopher and Banks name. They have switched their billing to them. She transferred me to John at CJ Banks. The phone numbers that John gave me matched the numbers on the back of Christopher Banks. So I paid the bill. At no time were they rude to me but that doesn't mean that they weren't rude to all of you who have spoken to them. It may depend on the people you get. So this phone call was an actual legit phone call. I never had noticed that CJ Banks had Comenity in their title on their statement. Not trying to uphold Comenity because there is no sense in these many phone calls and not leaving a message and I did inform John about that and he did apologize. So hopefully all is well and the phone calls will stop. I just wanted to say that for me I'm glad I called them back because if I owe something I do want to pay it and in this case I did. I wish all of you the same luck I had.

- I pay my bills!| 1 replyGot a call from 614-729-6035, but I missed it cause it was 8:29am on a Sunday, and I don't answer when I don't know who it is. Then got a call from 303-255-5045, so decided to answer cause why all these unknown calls all the sudden? Saying it was Comenty Bank will Beall's, that I was behind $58, which I'm not so sure about that. They were so rude, talking over me, being just plain aggressive, so I hung up on them after cussing them out/losing my cool on a Sunday. Called # on back of my Beall's card and can't speak to anyone until Monday so was the call a scam? I don't know, but cancelling my card tomorrow! Pay attention to what banks your credit cards use, avoid Comenty!

- opus replies to I pay my bills!Put the numbers on your phones reject list but then they call with a blocked number. My solution for any calls you don't want to be bothered with is a silent ring tone. Give everyone on your contacts list a different (audible) tone. You can download one for free off the internet. :)
- D.So much for the National Do Not Call list!

- ConcernCit252 replies to Todd OdomOh yeah they are HORRIBLE & as many others have said Victoria's Secret & New York & Co lost a valued customer. I was with them for over 10years, but when WFNNB made the switch to Comenity the trickery began and customer service went out the window. I looked for 45mins for a physical address to send a Cease & Desist letter to pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692c, Section 805(c). But to no avail. No fax or physical address & then I remembered FACEBOOK.
I went right to Comenity's FB page & made my concerns known & I sent a private message to the same. Jane said "Thank you for the information you have provided. Please be assured that Comenity Bank has updated their records to cease from contacting you." I got this reply to my post on their page "If you still wish to send a fax, you may do so at 1-614-729-5215." Guess what - NO MORE CALLS!!! - ConcernedCitSample Cease & Desist Letter ~
I am writing in response to you and your third party collectors constant phone calls!
According to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692c, Section 805(c): CEASING COMMUNICATION: You must cease all communication with me after being notified in writing that I no longer wish to communicate with you. Therefore, I demand that you stop calling me at home, at work, on my cell phone or at any other location! In accordance with the federal FDCPA, now that you have received this "stop calling" letter, you may only contact me to inform me that you:
· are terminating further collection efforts;
· invoking specified remedies which are ordinarily invoked by you or your company; or
· intend to invoke a specified remedy.
Be advised that I am well aware of my rights! For instance, I know that any future contact by you or your company violates the FDCPA and that since you already have my location information, calls made by you or your
company to any 3rd party concerning me violates section 805(b)2 of the FDCPA.
Be advised that I am keeping accurate records of all correspondence from you and your company, including tape recording all phone calls. If you continue calling me I will pursue all available legal actions to stop you from harassing me and my family.- Caller: Comenity
- ConcernCitThe Best way to deal with Comenity Bank I found was to take to social media! They have a FB page & a Twitter account. It was not until I went to their FB page, posted and sent a private message that the harassment & abuse STOPPED. I also finally obtained fax #1-614-729-5215 that you can send a cease and decisist letter to. Be sure to include all of the phone numbers you want them to cease calling you at. Good Luck every one.
