- LeeThis number called on my land line and I didn't answer - left the machine - ended up hanging up. Does anyone know if this is just a scam?
- lolaI just received a call for the same #614-789-3180. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message either. My phone has been acting weird as well...I also have a verizon phone.

- Karin| 1 replySame here, just received a call from this number for the first time, when I answered no one replied, was just dead silence, also on my Verizon Wireless. I cant imagine Verizon making such business moves, they have always been professional with me in the past and provided awesome CS. I would venture to say, this is definately a scam, lol. Dont give out ur info, everything about it is fishy. Glad I found this, and as for the ppl saying its Verizon, they are part of the scam. My 2 cents.

- ArleneI just received a call from this number today, but no one left a message on my voice mail. I looked up the phone number and found this site. I also, am a Verizon customer and just got a new phone. I'm not sure what else they could be wanting.

- Maria| 1 replyThis is the second time I have received an attempted call from this number - I am a Nextel/Sprint customer. So, I would say it's not Verizon and more than likely a scam!!
- Annie replies to EricYears ago I knew a rep that had a certified nut as his chick, a real go getter! He was from Ohio and I know it's all conspiracy-ish, but I've been getting these same wierd no-message calls from this same number, and it sounds to fitting to not make me suspicious...I'm totally gonna find out, oh and his name is Brandon Baxter, if that helps anyone.
- ConniI have received two calls from this number and let the machine answer. No response.
- MelissaThis number called me multiple times. I finally answered and they told me they were calling from Verizon Wireless. They asked if I'd like an upgrade and wanted my information. Shouldn't they already have my information??? I told them they were a scam and hung up. Haven't received a call from them since.
- Caller: "Verizon"
- PaulSame as everyone else. I simply will not anwser the call. I will go to the local Verizon office if and when I decide to change my equipment or phone. Will not discuss over the phone unless I know who I am talking to and that is not possible with them calling me!
- Caller: Unknown on the call
- Jared| 1 replyI just received the call and talked to the woman. It was a representative from Verizon Wireless just as a "courtesy" call to make sure that I was happy with our service and make sure that the plan we were using is the best for us (which it is). I wasn't on the phone with her but a total of 2 minutes and 21 seconds.
She was very friendly, spoke perfect english, and it was very painless. lol- Caller: Verizon Wireless
- Call type: Survey
- Jared replies to JaredI should also note, it has to be legit from Verizon (and not just a "scammer") because they told me my information without me answering even 1 question regarding my account. She told ME my bill, the phone numbers on my account, the account minutes/text message usage, etc. and I didn't tell her anything other than my first name so that she could verify that I was an account holder.
- This number is a scam 614-789-3180I called verizon from my cell phone.. They said 614-789-3180 is a scam. Beware. It is a fishing attempt to get information from you about your cell number and plan you pay for.. They can cancel your service acting as you and or rack up charges under your phone number.. Once they get your last 4 digits of your SS number they can pretty much do anything.
Beware.. Total scam.- Caller: Verizon imitators
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Beware of false postingsBeware of false posting as Jarrod must be with the so called scamming phone number. I called personally *611 from my cell. They said Yes indeed it is fishing. Do not give your information to them. If you have Verizon call them from your phone with *611 if you have service with them. They will verify it is a scam.
- Caller: Imitating Verizon. Fishing, Scam
- Call type: Telemarketer
- no oneI just got called from this number, they asked for a name similar to mine but not mine at all. thought it was a practical joke ... I have just switched from verizon to another carrier..
- Call type: Prank
- GermanRecieved about 5 calls from this number. This is a legit call from the Marketing Dept in OH. I thought it was a scam at first but called *611 and asked about the number, it is logged on the system from Marketing. I asked to upgrade over the phone with them at the moment and was able too do so (over the #*611). Always be cautious regardless of who people say they are. I upgraded 9 months before I was due for the New Every 2.
