OK it is amazing to me how many brainless twits there are on this wall.  This number is NOT a scam.  Verizon Wireless is calling customers on what ever number you provided them as your "home" telephone contact number.  They are attempting to either upgrade you to a new phone, reduce your bill or offer you some limited time promotions that could save you money.  They at no time ask you for your SSN or any other personal info.  So how could this be a scam or fishing attempt if they are not asking you for any personl info?!?!?!?! MORONS!!!!!

MORON!!! not a scam, someone is giving your number out as a home number, nothing more!!!

I received a few calls from this phone number. I'm afraid to pick it up because I have a "pay as you go" phone, and I don't want to waste $2 if it's a number I don't recognize.

I picked up and no there was nobody there, just dead silence.

Have received two calls from this number. Never answered either time but if it is important they should leave a message. I'm supposedly on the no call list but that doesn't work obviously.

Yeah, I'm up for renewal so they're trying to get me to resign especially since ATT + Tmobile will take over and conquer this area, lol. I'll let them sweat it out a little. :)

Verizon Collections

I used *67 then the number so I they wouldn't know who was calling and it is Verizion.

Rec'd call on cell from this number, didn't leave VM.  I do have Verizon as a carrier, however (c.f. previous reply.)

I am irritated enough that I may get rid of Verizon! If I want something, I know how t get it. The carrier should have to follow the same do not call rules as everyone else.

It's Verizon wireless. They call daily to ask me to upgrade ph & service. I keep telling them their service does not work @ our new address & that I switched to Boost mobile.  Boost works fine, yet Verizon calls daily. Verizon didn't care when I went in 3 of their stores & told them about ther issue.

Just got a call from this number. It is a Verizon customer satisfaction survey.  We did upgrade our phones and plan.

I got a call from this number and they didn't leave a message. It's my cell phone they called.

I received a call from this # asking me to upgrade my mobile broadband device, I stated I was happy with it the way it is

I called Verizon customer service and they confirmed the call.  It was a sales call trying to get me to upgrade my phone.

Just received a call from this number, answered.  No one answered it just disconnected.
