Daily calls from this number for past 3 days; no message ever left. I think it is a spoofed number, as caller id gives name "Park Ave Thrift" but calling the number back results in connecting to an unidentified voice mail system.

Absolutely amazing how these "testimonials" come full of heart-tugging tales of rescued degenerates and gushing praise for Lord Kennard, trying so hard to justify the annoyance of multiple daily beggar calls that will not ever stop without a Certified mailed notice if not a lawsuit.

No one else reading this page can ''please stop the number from calling'' anyone. Your caller cannot magically determine which numbers should not be called based on anonymous comments. You will have to take your demands to the call center.

Non-profits also need to honor the do not call list!!

Can any of you defending this caller explain why all calls come after 7:30 pm and someone hangs up when i answer?  I called the number back several times and either full vm box or hung up on everytime.  When someone finaly spoke when I answered they asked for items and when i explained we already had a charity we gave our stuff too the calls stopped for a month. Now the hang ups have started again.  This all seems very odd for such a fantastic NPO. Please explain.

Not really. Charity calls are among the federal DNC exemptions. Here is the FTC FAQ page which the DNC site repeatedly invited you all to read before you registered your numbers. See items 28 through 32.

It's not clear if the Nspire calls all come from a commercial fundraiser. Such hired call centers are expected to honor an internal no-call list and add any number upon request. Break that order, the FTC declares, and ''the telemarketer may be subject to a fine of up to $16,000.'' They are also covered to a point by other regulations for telepests, so you can kvetch about abandoned calls, bot calls to mobile phones, and so on.

This number calls EVERY day at least 2 times, sometimes 3.  It comes up as Hope House on Caller ID.  The most annoying thing is that it calls EVERY night after 8:30 up until 10 or so!  I don't  think it is legit, but even if it is, I would not donate anything because of their solicitation practices.  From all I can gather, it is a scam, so BEWARE!  For those who have positive comments about them, you might want to inform someone that they are really making a lot of folks angry!  Going to report them.

We also have been receiving a call from Hope House every evening around 8:45 pm. They do not leave a message on answering machine, I wonder why so many people are getting calls from this number?

(Hope House  615-613-0713) ...  I DON"T CARE WHAT THEY DO.  They call me morning till night.  Example: 12/04 =8:30 pm,  12/5 = 12:22 pm,  12/5 = 12:57 pm ,  12/6 = 11:02 am,  12:06 = 12:12 pm,  12/06 = 8:51 pm,  12/06 = 8:52 pm,  12/7 = 10:34 am=today...  This has been going on for months.  There is never a message. I tried to call them back and got a recording.  Very sick of them.  Trying to find out where they are located.

Location was easy to find using google.
