They sent me an official-looking document thru the mail that made them appear to be my mortgage company.  They’re practicing deceptive marketing.  Don’t answer their calls.

Received a mailer that looked official and made it look like it was from my mortgage company. Said they’ve been trying to reach us and to please call. Scam!

I was sent a notice that appeared to be from my mortgage company. I checked the number and it wasn't even from them. Glad I checked the number first.

Received an official looking letter from this company wanting me to call regarding my mortgage. Did not call. Scam!

The same ... an official looking document asking to call that number. Also there was a number looking like my mortgage account number , doesn’t match with my account. They just put it randomly..
Always call directly your mortgage company first.

The scam mortgage mail looked very important with the tear off edges on the side.

Received an official looking mailer, that when opened noted it was from "The Mortgage Service Center."  After checking, found that this is a scam.

Document says “we’ve been trying to reach you...” My mortgage company knows how to reach me in fact we’re just talking this week! That’s when I got suspicious and googled this number.

I also received the tear off ends mailer with the amount of my loan saying they had been trying to contact me.

Sent me the official envelope as well. I didn’t call because I know my lender and they wouldn’t send a letter they would just call. I get a bunch of scam mail about my house since I just bought it so new buyers beware.

I had the same experience. Official looking letter but when I checked the number I found this site. My mortgage company knows exactly how to reach me so I knew something wasn't right.

Same as other commenters, I was sent a scam document in the mail recently after a home purchase.
