Received an official looking document from BOA.  It is a scam.  Check out your mortgage number and this phone number before responding.

Same here. Glad I thought of checking the number. Has the loan number and everything which makes it look legit - but it's not.

Official looking mailer, 'trying to reach me' and phone number. I finally read everything, including the tiny print at bottom "Not affiliated with or endorsed by any bank or lending institution. Information concerning your mortgage is obtained only through public records" SCAM SCAM SCAM

I received same official looking document with tear off edges.  Scary they had access to loan amount and date… clearly scam,

The dead giveaway that it's a spam is the fine print at the bottom that states: "Not affiliated with or endorsed by..bank or lending institution. Information.. obtained only through public records." If people took the 3 seconds time to read this, they would quickly tear it up. People that don't do that are the reason why these companies keep sending these out. Since the government won't crack down on this, us citizens need to give these scumbags no reason to keep sending these out.

Looked official But why would my mortgage Co. say they can't reach me SCAM probably wants to try and sell you mortgage Insurance (life insurance)

I got this too, so why has the government not shut down this number and found out who's behind it? Mail Fraud is a federal offense one you put a stamp on it.

Got a letter that that looks like the one from my mortgage company, when I checked the number I found this site. I had no issues communicating with my mortgage company so I felt suspicious. new buyers beware.

The same as all others. Sent official looking document appearing to be my mortgage company. Googled the number, and was sent here. DO NOT respond.

Google the address and you get an empty field in Tennessee.
They indicate in the letter, "We have been trying to reach you..."  No you haven't, because if you were legitimate you would already know how to reach me.

Same here.  Received an official looking document with my bank name on it. Letter said they've been trying to reach me regarding an important matter regarding my mortgage and to call this number. I thought it was from my bank regarding my mortgage. Glad I looked the number up first! Very deceptive!

I got the mailer also saying they've been trying to reach me about my mortgage.  Funny thing is the company they were claiming they were from sold off my mortgage last year so I KNEW it was fishy.

I'm a mortgage banker and my client I recently closed sent me this letter which looks to be official.  Right off the bat, I advised him it was a scam of some type as I see it all the time.  I then googled the phone number and saw all these complaints.  Very sad what predatory solicitations do to make their phone ring.  Be safe and aware!

September, 2021 - Do not reply to Mortgage postal correspondence advising to call 615-800-7010 as it has nothing to do with your mortgage contract.

So you finally figured out that this was junk mail?  Then you finally came to the conclusion that junk mail should be thrown away?
