continuous calls

Her name was Stephanie. She needs to be put in Jail. They've called a million times and she just hangs up the phone when I ask to be taken off.The company is education autority and they are abusing peoples rights. EVERYONE. File a complaint with the government here. Its the only way to stop them!

Continue to get calls from 617 535 7970 and messages in re finding a college. Attempted to call back and get message to wait for next agent. very annoying, not requested, needs to stop.

I have been getting calls everyday from this number as well as several other numbers. They do not leave a message but when I have answered they claim that I have filled out a request for information regarding continued education which I have not done.
The calls come in at all different times of day.
Since my number was registered on the do not call list I am assuming they say I filled a request out on line to cover the telemarketing law.
I would like to know how to stop these calls it is very annoying!

Someone has been calling me on a daily basis and never leaves a message. I'm finding this number on my caller ID.  I've tried to call back to find out who it is and it's always a busy signal.

got this call at 8:18 PM Tuesday April 4, 2011. dont know the number so i dont pick up.

Have received numerous calls from this number; answered once and got elevator music. No longer answer calls from this number. In past months received calls from other numbers I do not recognize. Most times I do not respond. They stop calling after 4--5 unanswered calls.

I started getting calls from the same 617 number about 2 weeks usually around 7pm on my cell phone.  Today, I got one this morning. I haven't signed up for any job sites; however I am a real estate agent.  I think they may have gotten my number from my website.  I read the postings and none of us seem to have any idea what these people are about.  I smell an obvious scam.  What type of scam is a good question. I too am on the do-not-call list and think that these people can get in trouble and fined if enough of us report them.

These people call in the early am. I'm a student who stays up late and tries to sleep past 8am. Not get woke up by the phone only ringing 2 times. Wont leave a message and when you call its 10 minutes of evevator music then get hung up on. I'm on A NO CALL LIST!

my man had my cell phone when this number came up. he said he answered it and all he heard was breathing on the other line.   i was accused of a long distance lover until we both looked at this page. lmao

Received a phone call at 9 PM CST, a man yelling in my ear said that he was with the Education Authority...I asked: "What?" And he kept hollering, so I hung up..now I will leave my phone unplugged unless I wish to use it..this is just wrong.
NO, I have not given my number out to anyone for a survey. Hum, where did they get it...it isn't published, either. Number only says it originates in Boston, MA.
Is anything being done about this harrassment?
I am guessing this is a telemarketer.

I started using a google voice number on my resume and as the number I give out to potential employers or other things. I only use my real cell number now for family or as an emergency number at work or the doctors office. Using the google voice number has really worked out. I can get a transcribed copy of a voicemail so that my real phone isn't clogged up.
I just started getting these calls a week ago from this number and a few others, one based in KY. I found this site and google voice gives me the option to block the number. A few more times of them calling me and I don't think they will have any more numbers to use to call me with. I think this is illegal and I hope that somebody takes them out of business!

Tire of this got a new number and it begins again...tracing it and showing up on the persons doorstep...you messed with the wrong person jerks...

I gotten like 2 or 3 calls everyday from this phone number, i am sick of it, does anyone know how to stop this people from calling me...

got called from this number like 3 times. dont know who it is though...im tired of spam sites and numbers calling dont they have anything better to do?
