I just got a call from this number on my land line, my fax machine took it.

Calls at least twice daily. Annoying. I pick up, they hang up. I ignore, they leave no message.

They use both a similar 800 number and this 617-535-7970.  Looks like education or job search scammers.  Thank God for caller ID.  I don't answer unknown calls, except for 1 time from the 800 #.  I answered while the house was quiet and I didn't say a word.  Someone kept saying "hello," "hello."  Then I heard her say "this is a dead #."  Careful to not make a sound, I just smiled and they hung up.  Haven't seen that # come up again, though they now seem to be using the 617 #.  If I catch who this is through, I'll definitely give them a nuisance lawsuit!  I haven't  posted a resume on any job search site recently, so I'm guessing Kaplan, American College, UEI which I have requested info from.

They say they r from the education foundation. They r really rude and annoying. They ask millions of round about questions and they constantly call sometimes 6 times a day!! I just hang up. I'm not interested in school and I just recently graduated college...they need to stop bugging me.

I have gotten calls from this # since 10am this morning and then every 2 hours after that. I picked up once and it a guy that said I'm watching you. I may only be a teenager bit to me that is called a staked and he could also be a rapist. I did some research and the area code of 617 is from Bosten, Massachusetts in 1947. Thats alittle kreepy

Received 3 calls from this number today. They say they are an educational institution matching service (i.e., they will ask some questions and match you up with a college or university that matches your interest and degree you would like to pursue.) and that our conversation would be recorded.  I told them repeatedly that I had not signed up to be called about getting any other degree. I have got one already, and don't have any funds whatsoever to go after any new higher level degree.  They kept asking me questions and the last was a repeated question as to whether it is correct that I want to pursue a degree within the next 4 to 6 months. Again, I said no.  They said, "okay, we cannot be of any help to you at this time."  (I had said maybe I might pursue another degree after a year or more from now.)  I asked them to remove me from the calling list.  They would not or could not tell me where they got their leads from. They said I must have gone to the internet somewhere and requested someone call about something.  The only thing I have requested contact from in the past good while was information about a business opportunity.  Oh and I was asked what year I graduated from high school, whether I have a high school degree, and what my age is.

For the past two weeks I've been hound, I help my seventy one year old and I don't or want to be bothered by these calls.

There must be a way to stop them. Received three to four calls from them a day. So annoying. We must report them to the scam list.

Got a few calls from this number today.  No messages left on my voicemail...Very annoying... it seems to come from Boston, MA.  I don't know anybody from Boston.

I bought a new cell and they have been calling me 5-7 times a day it starts about 6am and continues until about 10:30pm I answer no response call back just music this has been going on daily for 3 weeks now I'm beyond frustrated

They won't stop the calls.  I don't know them nor did I seek information from them.

That is a Guam Number....?  Not sure what is going on, but Igot a call this morning at 8am and in Guam that would like 4am?  Really are you already up that early in Guam working??

Have been getting calls from them, never answered, but a good way to make them stop would be if everybody started calling them back and hung up after somebody answered for like 5 minutes straight hehe

They've called my (cell) several times, so, I saved the #, SET IT TO NO RING.  Now it does not bother me.  (Today alone they did call 2x.)

Ever since I tried Google Voice, I have started getting these junk mail calls 3 x day, the one time I spoke w/ a human it was "Top Colleges"... very annoying.

well the have called me 3 times a day for 3 days so far....and i am 13 so there is no way i would of contact them for a job of school....buisness like this can buy a list of peoples phone numbers from anything phone companys, facebook, surveys, any time you give your phone number....even when the places say they will not give out your phone number.....all so just because your on a do not call list dose not mean they will honor the do not call list
