Just yell BOMB into the phone. That should get the attention of DHS, NIA, CIA, TSA, NSA, YMCA. Everyone but the FTC, FCC, so what if you end up on the "watch" list, at least maybe these kind of calls will stop once and for all.

6187097644 - "Shawne Wise" calls about 4 times a day!!!!!!!  I never answer because I know it's a telemarketing type call.

It appears as these people have changed their name again.  They are no longer calling themselves "Elite Information Solutions".  They are now going by the name "The Credit Voice".  They changed their name from "Elite Information Solutions" to "The Credit Voice" the day after Indiana Attorney General filed suit against "Elite Information Solutions dba Safeline Alert".  According to the Florida Department of Agriculture (licensing body of telemarketers in Florida) "The Credit Voice" is licensed to telemarket medical alert equipment at 495 Semoran Blvd. Casselberry, Florida. It looks like "The Credit Voice" main headquarters is located in Clearwater, Florida.

I got a call from this #, it rang 10 times.  I called the # from my cell phone and it said this # was disconnected or no longer in service.  So what's up with that???

Thanks for the information about blocking. I just did it for the above number. Is it possible that the block doesn't take effect for a day or two? We have received a call from 618==== every single day. I hope this is done. Thanks to all who posted.

The "message" we get aout the # being disconnected when you dial back, could actually be an answering machine/voicemail message recorded and made to sound official.

I received a 6th call from this number in the past month. I ignore any call where I don't recognize the number. There are way too many solicitor calls to my cell phone. I guess the do not call list is a waste of time. I cant block anymore numbers..... the memory is full.

They're still calling (today included) . . . and I'm still leaving complaints (I've stopped counting the amounts).

Just received a call from this number, but the number that came up on caller ID was MY HOME PHONE NUMBER!  How can they even do that!

Have 4 phone lines in my house. Receive repeated calls, 6 to 8 calls on each of all 4 lines from 618-709-7644. Hanging up does not stop the calls. This time I listened to full recorded message, trying to sell a life alert type emergency system for seniors. After listening to lengthy recorded message, was given option to press number 5 to disconnect from the database to stop calls.

All phone numbers I have are on the do not call list. This company violates the do not call list and repeatedly calls and harasses with repeated calls.

Please punish these folks for their repeated violations of the do not call list.

Among all the numbers that call repeatedly, this is the worst. Sometimes 6 times in a row. This has been going on for months. I use CallClerk to block this number after the first ring, but the repeated calls are annoying even if they only ring once.

Then I listed this number as one of my 12 Comcast numbers to be blocked without ringing the phone at all.

These nincumpoops have retaliated by listing MY number as the Source number, and their number as the name on my caller ID. Their call bypassed the Commcast block and rang anyway. I simply set CallClerk to block 6187097644 whether it comes in as the caller ID name or number.

Watch for this trick. It is a way they can use to get around any call blocking system that uses caller ID.

i usually let the answering machine pick up for this and most other unknown cellular and other  unknown numbers... I am beginning to think they use the DO NOT CALL LIST  as a way to call good numbers. they get the list and then proceed to call all the numbers. guess we need to add the fbi cia ftc fcc and sheriff dept your local 911 non emergency number etc to the do not call list so they start calling these people
and maybe then the fcc ftc will put a stop to caller id spoofing, using your favorite search engine you can find places that will let you spoof for a fee.

Found it to be them sellling "gold for my IRA or other investment".  Seem to be located in far southern Illinois.  As near as I can tell, their machinery just robo-calls numbers sequentially.  I have two phone numbers a couple of digits apart.  They call one number and about a minute and a half later, the other number rings - same people.  Pain in the butt.

Folks.....this was my number about 3-4 years ago. It was a charter landline that was hardly ever used. Whoever is calling you...it's not me.

If you really want to stop these people, complain OFFICIALLY to the Florida Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs. Contact Monica Brown of their Telemarketing Dept at Monica.Brown@freshfromflorida.com and/or go to the website www.800helpFLA.com and use the online complaint form. Be as specific as possible. Name Michael Hilgar and Elite Information Solutions and say that his company is making direct sales solicitations in violation of Florida law in addition to violating Federal law (you can make that complain to the FCC). Unbelievably when I spoke with Monica she told me NO ONE had yet made a formal complaint against this company. I did. Now YOU need to do as well so we can put these people behind bars. Michael Hilgar IS a criminal and known con artist. Just look up his record. He has gone from one scam (roofing and stucco) to another. WE need to stop him.
