This number was given to me by my bank as the phone number for a company called MCA Web Technology, who was debiting my checking account without my knowledge.  I can never get them on the phone, or a response via phone or email.  The bank advised me to fill out an "unauthorized debit" form, which I am on my way to do right now.  Beware, folks.  I have no clue how this company got my debit card number.

I would also suggest contacting your local law enforcement and filling out the following complaint forms:

This is very similar to your complaints - so I believe they are connected.  Who knows how many bogus companies and telephone numbers were set up for this fraud and how many people have been had already

I too got a bank charge from this "mcawebtechonologies.com" crap. When I inquired at the bank I was given the exact same number and told that it was a company in Arizona and that I should call them. Well I did and it went to some kind of voicemail that didn't tell much about the company.

I plan to take this up with my local authorities, those in Arizona, and the local news crews because this is crazy and has to stop!

I too have been cursed with the "mcatemplates" scam to the tune of $11.89. I tried the number above and left a message. On Monday I'll be making the trek to my bank to file fraud paperwork, and then possibly off to the police station as well (something my bank might require).
Regardless, please contribute any/all information you procure during this process (as will I), in an effort to catch the scumbag(s) who are responsible for such a ham-handed attempt to rip hard-working people off.

I received a charge on mycredit card from a on line purchase from a website:  HTTP//WWW.MCATEMPLATES.COM for $11.89.  Called my bank and informed them of fraudelent charge.  I had to fill out a affidavit and fax back to them and also cancel the card.
 I called the number and left a voice mail but no one ever returned my call.  Left a email at the email address that was on the recording but as of yet, no reponse to that either.
 Please be careful of this scam.  I do not know how they got my credit card info sobe careful.

I too got hit with a charge.  I saw on the local news that now companies are hitting accounts for small amounts.  A lot of them add up to big money and they think people don't always watch the small charges.
it always helps to keep an eye out on all your charges!

I too was hit the other day for $11.89. Thankfully, the credit card company took care of it. If anyone is interested, there is a posting that I came accross on dslreports.com by MGD. It explains the scam in pretty good detail. I do not have the exact link as I came upon it by accident while trying to figure out what was going on. It appears the scam has been going on for years and card usage seems not to matter.

I had a fraudulant charge on my debit card on 3-11-08 for 11.89. I called my bank to report it and to cancel my card. I have changed all of my info. I have no idea how they got my card. I put in a complaint to AZ and will be going to the police as well. 623-742-3769 www.mcawebtech  is what my bank and my statement says. What bucnh of [***]. I hate people that pull this kind of crap. Please someone catch these people.

Just like all the rest of you guys.  Fraudulent charges on my debit card to the tune of $11.89.  Cancelled all my cards and am going to call the FBI.  I'm just guessing that the AZ ph. is a front and the actual morons that are doing this are probably in another country.  They have to leave some kind of electronic signature and eventually, they'll be caught.

P. S.   Forgot to mention, its the same ph. # everyone else has listed (623-742-3769).  Luckily, that card that they used was a special acct. I set up strictly for internet transactions i.e. no balance and I cancelled same.  The only time I've used that card recently was for an online purchase of a watch from an internet company.  Anyone bought a watch lately on-line? Let us know.

It was on my Visa card too.  No answer and no response to e-Mail.

Of course you realize these a$$holes read this for amusement.  I did file a complaint with AZ AG Office.  Previous dealings with AG's have never been very worthwhile.  It probably is run from overseas, every dog has his day.

Just to let you know, I did also purchase a watch from a website, "BlueDial.com" last month...maybe this is one of the commonalities?  Beware of future activity on all your financial accounts.

I just noticed this same charge on my VISA credit card.  I'm on the phone now with the credit card company dispute dept.  I'd like to know how they got my credit card number.

I just recieved my Visa and had the same charge $11.89 as everyone else...I also bought a watch from BlueDial.com in December...maybe there is something here...

I just was doing a general review of my Visa account online and noticed that MCA web technology cf charged $12.79 to my account and I too would like to know how they got my account number.  So, when these pr!cks read this they will know that the FBI is after them as I am closely affiliated with them and they are going down.

Yep, received the same thing.  http://mcawebtechnologies  I emailed and called them - no response.  Taking care of issue right now with CC compnay.  Will find out if filing a police report is needed/recommended by CC company.  Any idea how they got my number?  Just random??

I wanted to let you all know that I as of 4/4/08 have received the same charges. They are calling them selves wwww.MCAWEBTECHNOLOGY.com. Well any way I called the nuber and got a e-mail address. I wanted to share it with you all and anyone else that comes across this scheme. The e-mail is support@mcawebtechnology.com. I also wanted to let you all know in a demanding e-mail and lots of messeges I got a responce. It was a very timly responce I might add. As I told them I will not let this go until I get a responce. So this is their responce to me:

I then sent the info they asked for Because I have had this happen with another company with a very persisten e-mail demanding to hae all the info I suposedly purchesed. I am waiting to here back. I just wanted to share this with you all and hope it is a help the number I have is 1-623-742-3769. Just keep buggin them after a moning of harasing them they finnaly got back to me. When it comes to these kinds of things I am on woman that will not let things like this go on. So I hope this is a help to you all

My son was also hit with a charge for $11.89 and I emailed them to ask what type of business they are and this is the response I received.:

BE AWARE of another company called Interactive Designs 206-319-7126. They also showed up on my credit card for $11.89. I did get a refund from them and had my card cancelled. They are also a web site for web designs.
