Government. Has let these fools use robot calling to mess with you donor answer!

FCC? What a joke! They don't even control the "DO NOT CALL" problems that are so prolific out there.
What makes you think they will investigate these false calls giving free 'AT&T computer analysis'?
Sure - give them remote control of your PC and good luck with that......

This guy kept calling me with a foreign language and leaving messages.one day I answered it he said. you have a warrant for you. It's on your so security numberon. and you will be arrested today and lose your job. so we need your personal information so we can stop this answered and warrant. I told him I know what's on my background. told him the job I have I would not have anymore if I had a criminal background. he argued and argued with me I finally hung up on him. He called me right back and tried and tried to get my personal information. I finally told him off in not a nice way. never heard back from him again.

Hi,  the same thing happened to me.  One day i i received 150 telemarketing calls by noon.  I had not applied for Anything and am on the federal do not call list with an unlisted number.  I thought i was going to go crazy..  the calls were all telling me my payday loan was approved, our asking if. I had payday loans i wanted to take a loan out and pay off.  I had not had a payday loan for over 5 years.  I had been used a reference by someone who took a payday loan out Ann's didn't pay it back.  When that Person went into collections i had not seen them in a long time and told the collector i had no idea how to contact them.  I think somehow they were able to cross reference that system the advance places use to see how many outstanding loans u have and submit my info as if i had applied knowing i would be bombarded with phone calls,  i don't know who to contact that could help with the problem.  Thank god for one of the call blocking apps!  I was able to get the calls pet day down to about 5 and the rest were blocked based on their community rdatabase .of telemarketers numbers.

RE: 630-318-4762 I was not available when call came through. Got rid of our answer machine. I'm battling cancer, and mostly side effects from treatments. Phone rings all day and night. Maybe hospital sold my number 4 all I know.

I don't trust 'do not call list'. Our government, people 'elected' or not, are usually former corporation executives. Justice "long dong" Clarence Thomas being one who.was a former monsanto executive. During my healing from cancer I've learned much about the hoax. Our Govt  is  a 98% sell out to corporations. Watched documentaries when AIDS first broke out in USA. Horrified at what 'our' FDA did to people in usa and around the world. The DO NOT CALL LIST is a joke I've learned. Seriously, I think signing up for do not call gives criminals a list of our live numbers.
This 800 site has so many good posts on what's really going on in USA and tricks callers make. I'm grateful to whomever thought of it. I can't handle stress from crazy callers, so I look them up here vs answering. I PAY my phone carrier to block
calls from 'unknown'. They haven't been sued yet for false advertising. lol  ... I get a little bit of peace from reading the posts here about the thousand calls I've been receiving since Jan 2012.
I've been well enough to checkout 800 Notes since 2012 and am grateful for this is where I began learning some truths and taught me to peel the onion. It really saddens my heart to know there are so many low lives crawling the planet.

08-19-2014 @ 10:12 AM = 630-318-4762, UNKNOWN NAME.  Let answering machine take call & they hung up.  Search on internet revealed this call came from Naperville, Illinois (suburb of Chicago).  I am on every no call or no mail listing I know about.  Will be filing complaint with fcc on this one.  I believe it was a scammer wanting to "lower my interest rates on my credit card(s)"?

I got the call today from this number, saying he was a Computer Resource Center calling about viruses on my computer.  Reported it to the donotcall.com site.  Had a little fun with the guy since I'm a programmer and computer technician -- he asks me if I know what C-L-S-I-D means, if I'm a programmer.  I say sure, it's "Class ID".  He say no, it's Computer Licensing System ID - how can you be a programmer if you don't even know what CLSID means?  lol  He just lost the battle of wits, and I wasn't even 30 seconds into it.  After muttering stuff about me being a lousy programmer since I don't know what CLSID means, I apologize sarcastically until he gives up on me and hangs up.  Dang... I had some more questions for him too.  :-(

I just got a call a few minutes ago from 630-318-4762 and the caller ID said, Big Rock, IL.  My answering machine picked it up just as the lady said, "Hello, this is Jane from Card Services" and then she hung up immediately or the recording she was on hung up.  Just another scam to get your personal info.  I get calls from all over the country claiming to be Jane from Card Services....Don't they ever give up?  

I am also on the Do Not Call list, which seems to be totally ignored by everyone these days trying to sell something.  I have reported numbers before but here lately the caller ID has been coming up Private Number or Unavailable HOW CAN WE REPORT THESE TO THE FCC IF WE CAN'T GET A NUMBER TO DO SO?  And they just continue to call no matter what.  How can the FCC catch these violators if we can't report them?

I just tried to get into the sites you lister but none of them were of any use that I could see and the first one was invalids or whatever.

I just got a call from this number and I missed the call, so I called back and got this number is not assigned. How are people able to do this?

Same thing-Im sure its a scam or a telemarketer-I think Sprint sells/shares our contact info-some Asian lady asking f I had issues w/my computer-I hope it doesn't bug my I-phone since I answered the call.

They call all the time, I finally answered and they were tellin me my credit card was good and said I'm pre approved for a better rate, called back and got a busy signal. I have no credit card through Illinois, I am in the military and haven't lived in Illinois since I was 4. It's a scam.

Just bugged me with a call about getting low interest rates. No option to remove number from database or talk to a real human, other than pressing 9 to get said rates (right). Losers.

Vincent from Card Services wanting to lower my CC interest rate (robo call) asking to stay on line to talk to a rep. Used to ba a Rachel that robo called.

They use a modified version of Skype software that allows them to set the caller ID info to whatever they want. It's illegal as hell.
