Do not call

I received a call from this number today. I didn't answer it, but called it back a couple minutes later. I work a lot the Chicago area, so thought it may be about work. When I called back, I just get a recording that says "B241 Test Successful" and disconnects. I'm really concerned...anyone know what this might mean?

The lady said that I was rabdomly selected to receive a $9000 grant that I do not have to pay back and that i can recieve this grant by cash-in-hand, direct deposit, or western union. And she asked me which methos I would like to receive it, which doesnt make much sense because she then proceeded to give me a Grant ID Number and the number to a Treasury office, (360) 562-9343, and told me to call them and give them my Grant ID number and tell them the method I would like to receive my free money.

I called this "Treasury office" number and he asked me my Grant ID, asked my First and Last name, and then told me the methods I could receive my grant, and I told him cash-in-hand... He asked me if i had the $260 registration fee and got an attitude when I said no and told me that I cannot receive the grant without paying the regostration fee and hung up.

Obviously a scam.

Got a call @ 6:36 pm on wednesday 29 march 2017.  A male with a thick accent said "i got your loan application." i told him i didn't apply for a loan and hung up.

Whoever's calling from this phone number I want them in trouble I want them to lose her phone privileges I want them to be arrested by the FBI and put in jail for harassment

I received 2 calls within 30 minutes. The first call read NO CALLER ID, the 2nd call had a number. It sounded like the same person, but she denied it. She wanted the expiration month and year on a Visa, which I supposedly gave when I ordered weight loss pills. I told her I didn't order any pills and why didn't I put the expiration date when I ordered them. She has a foreign accent. These calls have SCAM written all over them. I refused to give expiration date unless she gave me the last 4 digits of the VISA. She couldn't provide them. She got rude and said my VISA has already been billed for the trial pills and said bye and hung up. Don't ever give ANY info out if you even THINK it's a scam. They are everywhere.

My call blocking system is full with over 60 blocked numbers for three separate lines. No sooner do I block them the same people call back with a different number. Some as soon as the very next day.  I have written to at least 12 letters to regulatory agencies and I have contacted almost all the ones you have listed. I have send call lists and once I sent copies of over 50 unsolicited faxes that I received in less than two months. I have had my life threatened by some of the callers when I would not cooperate and send them money to "pay for my fines".  I have found these regulatory agencies do nothing. All I can now do is to tell the scammer caller that I am at work and cannot talk but I am interested. I then give them my "home number", which may be a local  elected official(s) number. I figure if congressmen, senators and etc start getting hundreds of calls then maybe they will do something about it.

Just got a call from this number today and was wondering who else have gotten the call... The caller ID name showed up as "Scam Likely" haha.... even more of a reason NOT to pick up? So yeah, I did not pick up.

It is false, they only want access to your PC

I just received a call saying that I've been selected to receive $10,000 free. Not a loan but for my own expenses. The guy (with a weird accent) gave me a number to call and a code to receive the award. This is so not true guys!!! I don't know how they got all my information like full name and address.

Caller ID said Big Rock IL. Message said "goodbye" (maybe I missed the whole message and it came in at the end only). When I called back, twice, got "B 241 successful." Obvious scam.

Don't block them. Use selective call forwarding to forward to another scammer or that annoying insurance guy, or your worst enemy

Tech support scammers

"anonymous" call auto rejected.  Many fraudsters over the past two days claiming to be dialing out from "Microsoft" to repair my computer.  LOL.

Called a few times... no message left.  All the hallmarks of a telephone solicitor ... scammer... etc

This number continues to call our work phone. I work for a large hotel and they call between 11 pm and 3 am. Sometimes I just hear a heavy breathing on the phone but we've had a few of them  speak with a heavy Indian accent. A week ago one of these scammers called and our GM answered and he told her he was going to come to her house and rape her. Whoever these scammers are they are not only a pain they are mentally sick. Often when they do speak, they say we have a payday loan and asked if we want to pay it off. We tell them this is a hotel but they continue with threats of arrest if we don't pay the loan.

Recording left a message saying they were with the IRS and that they were issuing an arrest warrant for me and I would be picked up on the warrant within the hour. Told me to call 407-519-2648 to speak with them directly... COMPLETE SCAM!

They are calling saying they are calling for federal grant. Called at least 30 times this week. They do not understand to stop calling me.
