Another one to add to my blocked list.  Thanks everyone.

Guy told me was windows technician and asked me if I knew that there was a problem with my computer not getting the windows updates.
I told him I only have Apple products and he hung up.
Hopefully folks don't fall for this and let them access their PC.
Lots of background noise and sounded foreign.

They tried the same stunt on me, claiming to be Microsoft.  I actually played along with them but went to the website on an Ipad instead.  Then I wasted as much of their time as possible engaging in computer chat and stuff like that.  Finally I said  "Oh, that's the doorbell, the police are here, there have been break-ins in the neighborhood, I have to get this and hung up.
The guy called back claiming it was very important, I told him the police story again and asked if he wanted to talk to the police about computer crime since they were right here ... then he hung up.  Oh well, I did manage to waste a bunch of their time.
They aren't in the 630 area code, they are forging the caller ID.

I got a call from this number about 30 minutes ago and they asked for someone named Angela. I informed them that there was no one named Angela here and that he had the wrong number. They said no this is Angela's number. No matter how many times I told them that there was no one by that name here and that I have had this same number for over 10 years and to stop calling me they would not get the hint and said that this is Angela's number and that they would call everyday. I hung up on them and the called nack about 8 more times and blocked the number so it came up as no caller id or unknown and I told them to stop calling or I would report them and call the cops. My mother in law even answered the phone one time and asked for the guys name and he said it was John Smith. Do not answer this number! I am blocking it as I speak.

I got a call from this number..the guy said his name is officer john Carlos.. And said that I was under arrest and I need to call 202-239-8250 and mike Anderson will tell me what I did. These guys are crazy and weird. The don't speak English well at all and I would NOT pick up the phone.

I get calls from an unavailable number saying they are from Microsoft and I have a virus on my computer.  One time when I told him he was the virus and hung up he called me back with the phone number you have all listed and said "Is the [***] there"  I get many calls from they saying they are from Microsoft and also some hangups.  

Oh well, they called me up again, this time they did the "Unknown Name, Unknown Number" thing with the caller ID, but it was the same guy.

This time I told him that the computer did indeed come with windows but I had put Linux on there.  Then they hung up.

Called my house trying to get me to "apply" for lower rates on the gas & electric....told him I'd rather not, he got nasty with me, when I asked to speak with his supervisor, her called me by my name(which I didn't give him) said I was a [***] and hung up on me.

they called me pretending to be a rep from Chase wanted all of my credit card information, SCAMMM I told him i felt uncomfortable several times and he continued to press me

I got six "Unknown" calls in the last three days; I either ignore, or there's silence when I answer and I immediately hang up. This morning the 630-318-4762 number shows up, so I answer. It is an Indian lady with a very thick accent telling me that the government has chosen me for an $11,000 grant, and proceeds to ask me for my personal information starting with my date of birth. When I refuse her request for information and tell her that I don't need the money, she starts yelling "no, no, no, no...." and then hangs up.

I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number.  They didn't leave a message, but in case it was something important, I called the number back. Got and automated message: "You have reached the number 630-318-4762 that is not assigned yet, beep beep beep..." and it hung up.

They keep calling my cell number, they are speaking in another language, sounds like Arabic... then hangs up... they have called multiple times, when I speak, they hang up!!!

Was called by this number, first had to go through a prompt (which I did so I could be removed from their calling list - I have received multiple calls by this number). Once I asked the guy to remove my number from their calling list and asked him to place me on the Do Not Call, he said there was no one who could do that.  I asked him what the company was, he said it was "Ohrealy." Then after I asked him what his name was, he began to curse at me and call me names prior to my hanging up on him.  when you call the number back, it says that the number is not assigned yet, so they are unable to complete the call.

just started getting calls from this number, nothing there, hang up when I answer.  I have now blocked them.

3 calls in December, foreign person, called himself Phil, when I asked him what country he was calling from and what his real name was he hung up, threatened legal action with Attorney Generals office in Pennsylvania, as my number is on the do not call list, hasn't called back

i  actually answered it, a man from india said  they were from microsoft, and i had issues with my computer,.. ( no i didnt call them). i said i  do? well i never get any messages on my computer, nor am i on it that often, nor do i do banking on it, so let them hack away. i figured it was a scamer, they can call anywhere from the world,  rerouting it to show from usa. i dont know who these ppl are, nor do i care.   but dont believe anyone anyone, is all i can say. ask for written proof,  send statements, letters, not email of course that allows them to know more information then they already have?

Received a call on my cell phone from 630-318-4762.  Did not answer it because i am at work.  Called the number back and received this recording.  "this number is not assigned yet"

Seems to me the Feds can get information on everyone and their brother but can manage to stop these annoying calls.
