Called the number back and received the message "The number you have dialed is not in service"

Calls nearly everyday. Both my cell and land line. They never leave a message.

Having this number call many times a day. Very frustrating we are on the DNC list. Call the number back and it states out of service number.

This is a telemarketing effort encouraging you to switch your electic provider from Commonwealth Edison to another company. Expect more of these calls as may Illinois communities just won voter permission to negotiate a better than ComEd prices on behalf of their residents. If you are under a contract with one of the new ComEd competitors, or sign such a contract, and your community negotiates a better rate you will be required to stick with the terms of the contract you signed until it ends (or pay early cancellation penalties as described in your contract).  For more information on the companies marketing deregulated electicity go to the Citizens Utility Board (CUB) web site.

received a call from this number. They donot say anything. Called back and a loud beep came and then said number was not connected.

Yet another example of comcast selling your phone number!

They waited till my voice mail picked up and then hung up after 3 seconds without saying anything. Tried to return call and number is disconnected. How do they do that?

Do not answer unfamiliar calls.

Just got a call from this number 630-444-7474.  When I answered an automated message came on saying they could lower my ComEd bill... Scam!!!  I pressed #5 to hear the scripted lies and scams.  When I quesltioned who they worked for they would not say, and that they needed my last electric bill.  I asked what for and how they can offer lower rates, they immediately hung up. SCAMMERS!!! Beware!!!

This number calls my house first leaves no message and then calls my cell phone after they call the house. I received 4 calls from this number in two days. The CID at times will show Borowczyk S.

Keep getting calls from this number....finally picked it up and told me it was to lower com ed bill and then asked for my acct number. Hung up!

I get these call and never answer.  They also left a message about lowering my bill on my lan line.  Funny thing, a young black male came to my house and asked if I got my credit and just needed my Com Ed and NI Gas bills.  I said no.  He simply said, you don't want this money.  I told him if he knew how to read since my property has NO TRASPASSING all over!!  He left in a hurry.

This number calls me, and when I answer, there is nothing on the other end, and then it simply disconnects...... ?  What's the purpose?
