Just activated my caller ID again (with anonymous blocker).   The name is Ameribanc.  
otherwise, like the others - no answer, no message.

Many of you have received phone calls from The Ameribanc National Telemarketer. AmeriBanc Corporation's website has been referenced in the above documentation. We are not a telemarketer. AmeriBanc Corporation operates out of the Bay Area but DOES NOT telemarket. Our operation is striclty by referrals and deals with a select real estate brokers. AmeriBanc Corporation does not solicit the public in any way, shape, or form. We have received many phone calls from disgruntled recipients of Ameribanc National telemarketing calls. Got a call from this number at my business, actually talked to a live person. A very professional woman on the other end explaining they do research on businesses regarding accepting credit/debit cards as payment. When I replied we don't accept plastic, she asked why not, and I explained our customer base is primarily other businesses, schools, and organizations that don't use plastic as payment anyway.

She picked up on the notion that we don't deal with the general retail walk-in public (we don't), and when I confirmed it, she then apologized for bothering me, wished me a nice day, and diconnected. Hopefully this will end getting calls from this number.....

I signed up with americaBanc. Than scammed me with charging me fee that where not agreed on

Receive calls several times a day.  They hang up when I answer or after I answer.  I read through some of the postings and called Salesgenie.com.  I asked to be removed from their lists.  I also asked for the phone number for this company because the company got my company's number from them.  He said sure and gave me 630-924-5012.  It rang about 20 times. Nobody answered. I got a load ringing like a fax machine and then it hung up.  

By the way, if you want to be removed from Salesgenie's lists, send a fax on company letter head if your a company requesting it to 402-331-0176

Well, it seems the previous conversation I had with these people didn't register with them. Once again, I chatted with a young female who was attempting to get me to use their service for credit/debit card payments from customers. And once again, I explained I had no need for their service.

Pain in the ass..............

I get a call from this number a few times a week.  Today, they called and I didn't answer.  They called again, and I didn't answer.  I called the number back, and it says it cannot take calls at this time.  Sheesh.  I'm going to see if the phone company can put in a block for this number so they can't call my number.  I think that's an option, but may not be free.

The next time they call, I'm going to try to sell them credit card processing myself.  As soon as I see the number calling, I'm going to say "Hello, can I speak to the owner please?  I want to sell you some crappy credit card processing equipment".

Or....answer like this.."This is Power 105.7, and you're caller number 5!!!

I accually just had an interview at AmeriBanc. So, I came home and wanted to look up the company. It sounds like they're rude and maybe I should think twice about taking the job. I would love some feedback.

They keep calling me and won't stop. I had asked them months ago to take me off there list and i get a call from them everyday this is harassment.I want a counter law suit.

From an insider's perspective, I can tell you that the company, Ameribanc National is legit.  The telemarketer is attempting to set up an appointment for a local sales rep to visit the owner or decision maker of your business.  Ameribanc will provide free hardware including a check imager if you decide to purchase a credit card / check approval plan.  From what I can tell, the telemarketer gets paid based on sales from the appointments they schedule, not appointments.  That means that it is in the best interest of the telemarketer to make your experience pleasant.  Sorry to hear about the multiple calls per day and rude service some of you have expereinced.  The products can save even very small compaines money and provide them free hardware that other companies charge for. If that interests you, please set up an appointment to find out more.  Also, not all local sales reps have the company set up appointments for them.  Many may contact you directly which I hope will be much more pleasant for you. :)

We get a call from this number every day.  They never want to leave a message or a voice mail for the "owner"

Received a call from this number. Caller identified themselves as calling from Ameri-Bank and started to inquire about my business's credit card machine capabilities. I politely thanked her, told her I was not interested and hung up. Within 30 seconds the phone rings again, same number, I can hear voices in the back ground but no one speaks into the line. Essentially, then hung my line up for a minute or so, I guess in retaliation for hanging up on them! What a bunch of [***]!

Received this call one minute ago.  Fella asked for the owner by name.  I said he wasn't here.  He then asked for the owner by title.  I said that it was the same person.  

He said, "Thank you sir.  Have a good day."

I replied, "You too."

He purred at me.  ... ??  Odd dude.
