I called the local office of InfoUSA / Sales genie (same company)

To be removed, they told me that I needed to FAX a signed request to:

After calling local office I was told to fax a remove request to:

Repeated calls, ask for owner then hangs up on you when you tell them he's  not here.

Received another call from Ameribank today (2 this week).  After telling Amy, the caller, that I would never do business with them, that I had requested several months ago to be removed and that they were harassing me.  She assured me that it is not harassment and they can continue to call.  I just hung up on her after that.  I'm not stupid, it is harassment once you tell them to never call again....right?!

This was the 7th phone call in 8 business days from these annoying people, they don't care what you say, they keep plugging along trying to convince you to listen to their schpeil. I have told them 6 times to take me off their list and not call me back to no avail.

A rude black man called asking for me by name and I told him that I was not the owner and asked that my name be removed from the call list.  He was nasty, told me ony the owner could remove my name, an obvious lie.
I told he that was rediculous and to just remove it. He refused, repeating his lie.
I asked three times to speak to his supervisor to get my nmae removed, finally saying I would hold until someone was available to speak to me who could accomplish this.
the same guy got back on the line, acting like a supervisor.  When I told him I recognized his voice and I knew I was speaking to the same person, he hung up on me.

Same as everyone else. I am literally sick of them. I have tried not answering, answering, being nice, being rude. It doesn't matter. I have told them to TAKE ME OFF THEIR LIST!!!! They say it takes 30 days. I have been getting calls for months. I filed a formal complaint with the state of Illinois. I have call block but it will not block this number. I will try my phone company next.

I have been recieving calls 3-6 times per week from the company below with a very rude and nasty person trying to sell me a credit card machine.  I have told them over and over and over that I am not interested and to remove my name from their list at which point they call me a dumb [***], a stupid [***] a no good [***] etc etc etc.  I have been called every foul name in the book and 15 or 20 minutes later they call again and interupt me again and I have to go through it all over.  If I dont answer or boot the call they will call back over and over and over every few minutes until I answer.  Please lock these people in a jail somewhere and make them talk to ignorant telemarketers like them 12 hours a day.

You scum bags need to learn that when people tell you to stop calling then stop.  Go get a real job and quit bugging people with your [***].  Low Lifes!

These people are rude and offensive and they will not stop calling. The person this morning told me her name was Tory, but was not permitted to give out her last name. Sounds like a telemarketer. I usually hang up but they keep calling.

These people has called me none stopped for a few days now. Today I told the guy to stop calling me and he started to laugh and say I will keep calling you all day and he has done this since this morning every 30 minutes I get a call from that number. I called my phone company up and they can't do nothing. It's a shame what this world is coming too.

I do not understand why everyone doesn't just file the complaint and be done with all of this.... There is a site www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx and just click on file a complaint. It is easy to shut the calls down if you would just do the right thing and report it!!! Trust me, the calls will STOP

With all due respect, complaining does not stop them. The calls will continue and nothing will be done. How many have the FCC stopped?

On 10-27-08, recv'd call for owner by name, explained she was out of town, could I help or take a message. ask for another decision maker or partner,said I'd be happy to help if I could try as the operations manager, what was this regarding, no response, so I asked if this was a "sales call" (it sure was feeling like one) I was told NO & they would call back later when would the owner be in.  I said if this were a sales call to please remove us from the call list.  INSISTED she was not selling anything & rudely thanked me for my lack of assistance.  When I called the number back the same person answered, I asked to speak to a Customer Service Supervisor & she said she was but she doesn't make out bound calls, I KNOW it was the SAME women.  I argued for a few moments AFTER I got the name of KATIE PILARSKI, she finally admitted that they weren't really selling anything, just setting up appointments to sell you credit card processing.  WHAT A RUDE WOMEN...she needs to learn to overcome objections in the selling process.  Would not let me speak to ANY supervisor, because she doesn't have one

Calls almost everyday from this company that wants to get me better credit card rates. I don't like my current rates but I don't do much credit processing so I think thats why when I set up appointments with this company for a rep to visit me nobody ever shows up. I have had this happen to me three times with no shows so now I tell this company I'm not interested and they still call be back daily. They have already called six times today and it's only 1:30 pm!

Keep in mind that not all of us that are being harassed are residential numbers.  Lots of us are businesses and unfortunately the DNC rules do not apply to us.

These jerks have been calling my business for over a year.  I have filed complaints with the IL AG office, and the IDFPR, all to no avail as we are still being harassed by these scumbags.
