Ignored!  Received telephone call both today and yesterday from this "unknown source" ... No message left by the caller(s)

This isn't a company. It's a scam artist. The law doesn't apply to scammers.

I got a call on my cell from this number while I was sleeping. They didn't leave a message. Oh well. Adding them to my call blocker app.

if your number gets entered into their database for some reason they will call you, there are many ways this can happen, the most common that I have seen is someone getting one number off on an application or a prank. you cant really be mad when you get a call, there are hundreds of different companies out there and when one of them get your number they are all going to call you because of the way information flows. its best to be polite to the person who is just doing their job by being on the phone. simply tell them in nice tones that you are not sure why you are being called and you wish to be removed from their list. do this politely for every company that calls you and guess what. eventually the calls will stop... until the issue happens again...

Nope. The most common way is when sucker lists are traded amongst scammers. You know, like when you press some key to get your number removed, how that really just confirms your number. The original lists are based on sequential numbers, then the ones that respond in some way are added to sucker lists.

Scammers like to lie and make their victims think it's their fault they got called. Are you simply ignorant, or are you one of these filthy scammers yourself?

Same as all the rest of people who got the call . To bad we can not catch the scammers.

I've received several calls from whoever this is on my cell phone but when I try and call back the call is dropped so I never reach anyone.

Jessica, there are ethical business standards and practices, just because someone is, as you say just doing their job, certainly does not make their actions right or proper except from their standpoint or their bosses!

A prime example is multiple emails, I received a number of them, that were sent out by some deranged scammer, to quite a number of individuals in my area [CA], claiming individuals had to report to Court in Washington, State as their case was being heard and their attendance was mandatory!  My neighbor and close friend is a head tech at my local ISP and said they were swamped with calls about this same scenario.

So again, No, just because some is, only doing their job, certainly doesn't make it proper or ethical in any way under these circumstances!  If common courtesy is shown by the caller and a willingness to remove your name from their call list then I'd have to say that was ethical behavior on their part.  This 630-869-1320 # from Illinois, Chicago, I assume is far from ethical it appears.

Just checked other sites about complaints for this number and one stated the calls were from:
630-869-1320 - Heartland Communications, Inc, Downers Grove, IL   I guess they are the service provider for this number.

Called a little while ago. i answered. She asked how I was doing. I said "how can I help you". She hung up. That was it. Very pointless.

Just rec'd a call from this #.  I did not answer and thankfully they did not leave a VM.

Same bs.... insurance...heres how I handled it....
I started saying stuff like, "what are you wearing..." , "You sound sooo hot...", etc...

havent had a call back since...  :-)

Just got this call but couldn't reach my phone in time. No message left.  

Got called from them today. I answered and no one was there if they call me back I'm gonna give them the phone number to the local sheriffs dept as a work number to the man of the house!!! Besides I dont need any more insurance got enough as it is!

This is a ROBO-Caller But it is so funny because it will say it is real person.  It is a robo-telemarketer trying to sell term life. Have fun with the computer (ask it personal questions, ask if its a real person,  etc)  and then block the number and report it.
