Continually calls. Some directory listing update BS. I told him to stop calling.  He told me it would cost $5 dollars to be put on their DNC list.  I told him that the national DNC list was free and that it was illegal for him to extort money to get off their call list.  He laughed. When I asked for the address of his corporate offices, he gave me MY address. Refused to give any company information. Asked again for him to stop calling and his answer was "Just don't answer when we call". Indian accent.

Franklin d. Souza was on the Caller ID.

Claims his name is "Paul" and that he is from US Directory and that we are a member.  He says "You are the owner, right?"  No.  "Can I speak with the owner?"  No

Fool wasting my time hangs up without saying anything more.

Scam, calls repeatedly. Shtick is as reported previously, Indian guy in noisy sweatshop asking for the business owner and selling Google, etc. placement.

Numb skull by the name of Franklin Souza keeps calling, doesnt leave a message. It must be incredibly important what he has to offer. I have a great idea for you Franklin...lose my number.

Called my cell phone then my office. Google listing. Tell me what man in India is named Franklin? Please.

Caller ID says Franklin D Souza.  Looking for the owner.  Claims to be from United States Directory and wants to update our information.  Says we are a member.  NOT! .  Sounds like a HUGE india call center.  LOL, so in my very best accent, I gave her a hard time. 12 minutes and she got nowhere, but my accent sounded just like her's.  Fools wasting my time.

Called our dentist office.  Said "John"?  I said "No."
"I know you are not John.  Can I talk to John?"
"No.  He's with a patient."
"Yeah sure.  He's not a doctor."
Hung up on me.

Quit calling every day week after week!!!  This is a business don't have time for rubbish

Indian accent in call center. "Oscar Abbott" Red flag on the name alone! "Us. directory " with a "today only" offer for annual google account for $5. However, this was only after he confirmed every detail of my Google account and edited as I have been trying to do for months on my business account. in my experience, once they say they have to have the payment immediately, you know something's up. Told him I was in a public place and couldn't give payment information and he got defensive stating he was quite sure I had my purse with me. big red flag!

Answered the phone and you could here papers printing in the background but the caller wouldn't answer. Hung up on the call.

Called back from cell phone.  Answered by Indian sounding individual with "Welcome to US Directory, can I help you?"

If it's the same people I'm thinking of, when you answer and hang up they call right back, and they're like roaches escaping from under a rock. They called me FIFTEEN times one day because I made the mistake of picking up the phone. No matter how many times I told them to stop calling, a different idiot from the same flunk out call center called back.

Tell him, "No, don't call here anymore." I reported EVERY number to the FCC. Of course I received some bullcrap answer back, basically refusing to take action against them. If you answer they get excited and start passing around your number in their Sesame Street office on the corner of Idiot an [***] lane.

They also tried calling me from at least ten different area codes and numbers the other day. I didn't answer any of them. Some days they call relentlessly, other days they only call once. I guess it depends on how much remedial reading they've received on one particular day. I know it's hard for them, I mean, they're still learning their basic numbers and how to read big words.
